The Mamiya Low Pass Filter for Mamiya ZD Back is an optional accessory that is used to lessen the moire effect created in certain digital photography scenarios.
The low-pass filter YC401 reduces false colors, moire, aliasing and other phenomena that are produced depending on the subject (especially clothes with repeating patterns) and which are unique to digital images. Low-pass filters have the same capabilities as IR cut filters and can be used in place of the IR Cut Filter, if necessary.
