The RF Remote for Windows Vista from Keyspan is a remote control that is designed to control the Widnows Vista Media Center. The remote features a wireless RF interface, which eliminates the need for line-of-sight communication that hinders IR devices. It features a compact USB adapter to connect to a computer.

- The remote features a 433 MHz RF interface that allows it to communicate over distances of up to 90' (27 m). You'll be able to use it to control music, video, or TV playback, even from an adjacent room.

- The remote control is designed for use with the Windows Vista Media Center. This application is included in the Home Premium and Ultimate editions of Vista. You'll be able to control video, photo, music, and TV playback with this remote.

I use it with Windows 7 Media Center and it just plugged in an worked even though it says Vista on the box. The RF works reasonably well around my appartment although I sometimes have to move it a bit to get action if I am in another room. Great to be able to play music in the living room but be able to pause it from the study if the phone rings.
