Video is captured simultaneously in both the JPEG and MPEG-4 formats. This provides the necessary versatility in transmitting over a network, allowing a user for example to set the camera to display images in the superior quality MJPEG format and the same time have the camera record in the faster MPEG-4 format to reduce file sizes.

• Built-In Microphone (1-Way Audio)

A built-in camera microphone greatly enhances security performance by providing a user with the ability to hear as well as see an occurrence.

• Motion Detection

Built into the camera is a motion detection function configurable for size and sensitivity. Motion detection not only alerts a user to suspicious activities but when used to trigger recording, saves valuable search time as well as hard drive and network resources.
