My Sony HDR-A1U video camera was not properly finishing capture. I kept getting an unknown error during the capture process. Before sending the camera to the repair shop, I tried this head cleaner and it now works perfectly. How great would it be if all the equipment problems were this easy.

I now look for everything I need to buy on the internet, I now buy at B&H. I have ordered things from other companies and if I order it overnite, I get it 3 days later because of processing. I hate waiting!!! So for now on B&H!!!!

Used to clean heads on Canon GL1 and GL2 cameras. Worked well although had to use two to three times for each camera.

Prior to having my Sony mini DV video camera repaired or replaced, I tried this product as a last resort. To my pleasant surprise, the Maxell Head Cleaner did its' job and restored operation and function. While embarrassed that I had never cleaned the heads of my Sony video camera during the past seven years, I am greatly relieved and delighted with the results. Paying less than $12 to troubleshoot and get my camera working again was an outstanding value. If your video camera seems operational, but there is excessive distortion in video quality, I highly recommend that you give Maxell's head cleaner a shot. I'm glad that I did. Thank you Maxell!!!!!

This is an excellent product I didn't know how important is to clean the heads, I was using cutips to clean them but I read that it damages the heads

Use a head cleaner that is the same brand of tape you use for video.

I purchased this to clean the heads of my high-end miniDV equipment. I does a good job, but overuse can damage heads.

My Canon digital video camera (mini DV) began to "pixelate" or "tile" as I was creating DVD movies from existing tapes. After using the head cleaner as instructed, 4 times for 10 seconds, the problem disappeared. I now carry the head cleaning tape with the camera whenever I travel.

my heads were beginning to skip and collect dirt and dust but after i used this cleaning tape they worked as good as new. it's cheap and it works amazingly definitely worth the buy.

Very easy to use. No complex moving parts or instructions. Load the cleaner and press play. The only way this could be simpler is if somebody did it for me.
