Prior to having my Sony mini DV video camera repaired or replaced, I tried this product as a last resort. To my pleasant surprise, the Maxell Head Cleaner did its' job and restored operation and function. While embarrassed that I had never cleaned the heads of my Sony video camera during the past seven years, I am greatly relieved and delighted with the results. Paying less than $12 to troubleshoot and get my camera working again was an outstanding value. If your video camera seems operational, but there is excessive distortion in video quality, I highly recommend that you give Maxell's head cleaner a shot. I'm glad that I did. Thank you Maxell!!!!!

My Canon digital video camera (mini DV) began to "pixelate" or "tile" as I was creating DVD movies from existing tapes. After using the head cleaner as instructed, 4 times for 10 seconds, the problem disappeared. I now carry the head cleaning tape with the camera whenever I travel.
