The HS-500 Hand-Carried Video Studio from Datavideo is an integrated mobile video broadcast solution. It is housed in an aluminum carrying case that can be carried by hand and offers true "live in seconds" performance. We only use one input, but use a switcher to be able to black out the screen during our show. This is just so perfect for us. Except for a scan converter, this package contains all and is easy to take wherever our tour goes. We currently are in Europe and it all works on 220V as well. I would totally recommend this to anyone.

This has been our go to switcher in our small analog production fly pack and has performed flawlessly. The internal synch provides very clean transitions. Setup and strike is very quick, though the configuration of the switcher in its road case makes it a little difficult to get to the back connections.

We use this switcher to control jumbotrons at special events, and it is the perfect system. For the price of a few rentals you can own your own switcher that packs more features than most rentals. Excellent build quality as well, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Great product that is very easy to use for anyone looking for a simple yet nice switcher. Very rugged build with a solid case that is easy to break down for operation. The LCD monitors and the PIP option within the system is very nice with good picture quality relayed on both monitors. We use this product for our church services with 2-3 cameras hooked into the inputs on the back of the switcher. It is so simple to use with the large buttons that light up making it easy to see in any kind of lighting. Product is very good for churches or venues that want something that needs to switch between cameras in a live or recorded venue that will be able to put out a nice product that can be broadcast on TV or the web. Product can also take in sound and gives you many options on mixing or just taking in sound from a mixer. The only drawback to this product is the slight difficulty in plugging wires into the back of the switcher. The great features on this product out weight the minimal inconveniences that one may deal with making it a tremendous buy and great value.
