Domke F-5XB Shoulder/Belt Bag (Brown)
The Domke F-5XB Shoulder/Belt Bag (Brown) can be used as a camera bag, or remove the Gripper shoulder strap and thread it through the belt loop for an instant waist/hip pack. The bag can hold an SLR or rangefinder camera, one or two lenses, filters, film and accessories. There is a zippered, padded main compartment lined with touch fastener material, a long thin compartment on the front of the bag, and a U-shaped pad that makes a compartment for papers.

This is a very nice product. It is built of strong canvas, and has an adequate amount of padding. It's smaller than it seems in the pictures, but it holds my D80 as well as 2 lenses. It doesn't hold much else, just the charger and a few SD cards. It would be nice to have a few more pockets, but I needed something compact and secure for day trips.

I was looking for a bag that I could use to carry my set of photography equipment: a Nikon D60, the 18-55mm lens that came with the D60, plus a 70-300mm zoom lens. What I wanted was something that would let me carry all of these at once, preferably with the 18-55mm lens attached to the camera body, without looking like a typical black/gray vinyl bag with an ugly 3D plastic/rubber logo. In other words, I wanted something that would be a great small camera bag that didn't stick out as a camera bag.
Searching around I narrowed it down to Billingham and Domke, but Billingham was a little to expensive for me at the time. Among the Domke offerings, I thought the F-5XB was the most likely candidate to fit what I wanted to carry, and personal preference led me to pick the color brown.
The bag turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for. It has a main interior pocket with two padded velcro dividers, meaning you can push them out of the way to fit a camera with a lens attached. The bag itself is well padded so your camera will be well protected. The extra pockets on the interior and front are perfect for holding filters, lens caps, memory cards, and other flat accessories. The zipper on the main pocket is big and sturdy. And finally, the bag actually looks good.
I look forward to carrying this bag for a long, long time.
