MOTU MachFive 2 - Universal Virtual Sampler
MachFive 2 from MOTU is a universal virtual sampler that supports (or can import) all the major audio formats and proprietary sample formats. The application can function stand-alone or as a plug-in under both Mac OS X and Windows XP/Vista operating systems.
A single, unified interface provides all editing and performance parameters in one glance, making for a speedier and flexible workflow. The software effortlessly handles samples and synthesis, loops and instruments and also offers extensive sound bank management.
This update to an already powerful sampling instrument delivers even more advanced editing with the ability to have unlimited parts, with unlimited keygroups and layers. Up to two-hundred discrete audio outputs are available (hardware dependent.) Multi-channel surround sound is also supported.
The Loop Lab provides drag and drop import/export, beat slicing, MIDI mapping, time stretching, and advanced pitch shifting for loops with support for REX, ACID and Apple GarageBand Loops. Multi-point envelopes with unlimited breakpoints allow for highly customizable modulation and can be synced to host tempo.
Advanced sound design, included FX, a mixer and a 32GB sound library, ease of use and superb audio quality, all combine to provide a comprehensive solution for sound design, live performance, music production, or broadcast.
