There is no reason for this repair piece to be as expensive as it is. I was tempted to buy a new printer; it is the shock of having visited the local landfill that made me repair it.
If printer manufacturers price their products in such a way that a simple spare costs what a new machine does then they should be forced to take back and dispose themselves of the old units.

Not sure what else to say about this item other than that it works just fine. This is a Brother unit so you don't have to worry about compatibility - it's made to fit. I just popped out the toner, popped the toner into this new drum unit, and the machine was working smoothly again. Don't forget to reset the counter on your printer unit.
