I use this card for candid and sporting events as well as portrait sessions. It is very fast and reliable. I shoot in burst mode frequently in RAW which creates a 15mb file and this card has had no trouble keeping up with my D700. Off loading the files to my MAC is just as fast. For the money you will never find a better card!

Works but...
It stoped reconding during a concert. I found out that it works best if I reformat it everytime before using it. Not ideal.

used for portrait, landscape and event photography.
great capacity, but slower write/read speed than the comparable 2gb ultimate in my Nikon D300 while shooting RAW.
I plan on buying several 2GB kingston Ultimate CFs... can't beat them, the one I have has been used like no other card I have with zero loss and very fast read/write speed

I purchased 2 of these before a recent wedding and they worked flawlessly. They are just as fast as any of my other high speed cards. I would and have recommended these to a friend.

Works as advertised, from a reliable and well-known memory manufacturer. I used it for my EOS 5D to capture landscape pictures, and so far there is no problem after almost one month of usage.

Comments about Kingston 4GB CompactFlash Ultimate 266x Card:
Great performance from this card, with a ridiculously good price. I shoot a lot of sports photography, so it is important to have a card that is not going to slow down my camera. In fact, I think I'll have to upgrade my camera to put this card through its paces.
I've already shot a few games with both the cards I purchased, and I have not been disappointed.

Comments about Kingston 4GB CompactFlash Ultimate 266x Card:
I was looking for something that could hold a fair amount of images when shooting a wedding that could keep up with my camera, all without costing an arm and a leg. I ordered one card to test out and was so pleased with it that I have ordered two more!
I am able to shoot large/smooth jpegs at 3.5 fps without the buffer in the camera filling up and can keep the shutter pressed until the card would finally fill up. The read speed is fast and it seems to take no time at all to download almost 4GB of images to my computer.
If you are looking for a fast card at a great price...look no further!

My main was a 8GB Sandisk Extreme III. I bought the Kingston as a backup and now that I've used it the Sandisk is now the backup. The Kingston is a very fast card and I've had zero problems with it. Had I looked here first I would have bought 3-4 of these and been done with it all.

I bought this card on a whim when I was ordering a card for someone else.. I have a bunch of the PNY 266x cards which are 2x-3x times the price. I have shot probably 1000 pictures with this card so far in my 50D and it performs wonderfully. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase more..

I bought this to replace a lost 4GB Extreme III (133x) card. It's faster than that card, and works just as well under the same temperature conditions and shooting volume.
I'm going to buy two more in the near future.

The card has no problem keeping up with the burst rate on my Canon 50D! No waiting, no stalling. Downloads are super fast! It's a much better price than MOST of the other brands and Kingston does stand behind their products if you ever have a problem, plus they have free recovery software.
