Comments about Manfrotto 050BAC Quick-Lock Maxi Air Cushioned Light Stand - 11' (3.3m):
This Light stand has a unique locking system, that is both fast and easy to use. Match this with the Air Cushioning and the smashed hands, and kiss the bruised fingers of days ago goodbye. I purchased one as a sample to verify quality, I will be purchasing two more!

Comments about Manfrotto 050BAC Quick-Lock Maxi Air Cushioned Light Stand - 11' (3.3m):
I originally bought these to go with some monolights that I was going to purchase. When the units I wanted were delayed (new product), I decided to just go the Strobist route, and order some 580EX II's instead. So, these are a bit overkill, but provide stable support, and I never worry about them tipping over with my speedlights on them.
I wasn't too sure about the quicklock, but am really liking them. It makes adjustments that much faster. Construction is typical of Manfrotto, you won't be disappointed there.
These fold a really nice, and even have a little cord clip, if using with a monolight, to keep the cord out of the way.

Comments about Manfrotto 050BAC Quick-Lock Maxi Air Cushioned Light Stand - 11' (3.3m):
High quality you can count on for years to come. These stands won't let you down on location as they are build tough, close down to a very reasonable length yet extend to 11 feet. The unique quick set levers are well designed and make setup a snap. The air cushion design keeps fingers from getting pinched.

Comments about Manfrotto 050BAC Quick-Lock Maxi Air Cushioned Light Stand - 11' (3.3m):
I have been looking for high quality lightstands for studio and location work that are durable and collapse to a reasonable length. Once again, Manfrotto comes through without disappointing me. The stands are easy to set up and take down, built tough and extend to 11 feet. Great for placing your flash high above a dance floor at a wedding etc. Very easy to transport yet very stable when extended. I highly recommend this product. They cost more than some other brands but you will immediately see the difference.

Comments about Manfrotto 050BAC Quick-Lock Maxi Air Cushioned Light Stand - 11' (3.3m):
this is a fine lightstand, although I really don't like the way the section locks work. My other lightstands are little knobs that you turn - this one is a lever that you have to press - it's not terribly intuitive, and it's kind of hard!
