Giottos Professional Car Window Mount
This Giotto's Car Window Mount is a heavy-duty device used to affix a photographic or optical viewing device to a vehicle's window, providing a solid, yet adjustable platform. The all-metal mount clamps to a glass window protecting the glass with a rubber pad. Incorporated into the mount is a pan/tilt head that allows for adjustments.

Just received it yesterday so haven't had a chance to use it. If it performs as well as it's built I will have no complaints. Heavier than I thought it would be but that's ok, in fact good I think. Built like a tank. The intended use is to mount my 1Ds MKII on the end of a 8-23 foot telescoping boom. I live in Grand Canyon country, lots of cliffs to extend the camera over for unusual shots. I think this unit will be able to handle the task.

we use this to take quick snaps of scenery with out having to get out the tripod and other gear. Does not scratch the glass, and is padded. Full movement is great.

Very solid and exactly what I was hoping for with one exception! I don't can't trust it! After opening and reading the instructions, I see that it clearly states not to use this while a vehicle is in motion! If I would have know this I would not have bought it. I would have used my tripod I already own instead! Therefore, BEWARE! If it falls and/or you break it or lose your gear, it's on you. I would have went another direction!

I use the window mount for my music videos. I get a steady shot so as long as the street is smooth. It is easy to use and is very durable. I just used it for an interstate scene and it was perfect.
