I can't believe that I went so long without one. Way more accurate that the levels on my tripod. Makes shooting landscapes and architecture more enjoyable and precise. Accurate and well built. Could fit my hotshoe better, but it doesn't fall off either. Also pretty expensive, but it works really well.

I ordered this because I sometimes miss-align the horizon with my Pentax K20D and my mono-pod does not have a level. This is a neat little accessory that does exactly what it supposed to do, takes up very little space and weigh. A very useful thing to have in the gadget bag.

This duplex level is great for landscape and any other photography situations where you are concerned about keeping the horizon level. I really like the duplex feature because I can take vertical and horizontal photos without changing the position of the level in the hotshoe.

My pictures always seem to be a little off level and need some adjusting once downloaded into the computer. This fits into the hot shoe and gives you a spirit level to ensure that the camera is perfectly level.Simple and effective. However, paying [$] for this just seem like a lot.

After recently taking a photography class and using the instructors bubble level I knew I had to have one. This little device works great for landscape photography. As someone mentioned, it is small so could easily be misplaced, but because it is small, it is also easy to pack with you. I have already purchased another as a gift for a friend.

I bought this product to use with a 24mm PC-E lense to obtain the full benefit of the lense. The level is easy to use and can be used with the camera in horizontal or vertical format.

I don't know of anything negative to say about it.

I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a piece of plastic filled with a little oil, so I bought this -- one of the least expensive hot shoe levels from B&H. It has not disappointed. It seems to be reasonably accurate, well made, and the myriad grooves cut into the unit allow the photographer to mount it for taking vertically-framed shots as well as the usual horizontal ones.

I have a Manfrotto tripod and ball head that have leveling bubbles, but this is much easier to use. The twin axes give more accuracy than just a single bubble centered in a circle.

I STILL think a product like this could be sold for less money (although it IS kind of a specialty product), but all in all, this is a good product at a good price.

This small tool was a big help on recent photo shoot. I was shooting in very challenging winter conditions at night. The bubbles were fairly easy to see in low light conditions, and helped me to quickly set up a shot when I could not see through my view finder.

Worked great. Mounts easily onto the hot shoe. Can be mounted in multiple ways so that the two bubble axis align along the camera axis you want straight.

I tested the bubbles against my contractor levels, and they are exactly correct. It's great not having to change levels when flipping from 'portrait' to 'landscape'.

I am a amature landscape photographer, my main interest is in Pennsylvania Covered Bridges. I finally found a way to keep those structures straight in a frame. Also when doing landscapes of the fall foilage it was really nice to have all those straight horizons. Either horizontal or vertical it does not matter, this little jewel works. The material it is made of is strong and durable something I need getting in and out of a vehicle in some rough terriain. The simplicity of the product is great.

Simple, light and has a permanent place in my camera bag.
Fits onto the flash shoe and is extremely useful when taking pictures for stitching into a panorama allowing you to see at a glance if your camera is level before each shot
