Comments about Tascam CD-GT2 - CD Guitar Trainer:
I have had my trainer less than a year and the line out and ear phone jacks already have a connection problem. I only get sound from one speaker unless I fiddle with the jack. I never remove the line out to the speakers so it is not from over use of plugging in and out. The headphones jack has the same problem. I would not recommend this trainer only because of the low quality electronics. The software works ok and it is a useful learning tool, but longevity of use is an issue.

Comments about Tascam CD-GT2 - CD Guitar Trainer:
Easier than I though it would be to use this thing. Just pop in a CD and go to the track you want to learn and start playing. You can either plug a set of earphones in it and play along or run a cord from the Guitar Trainer directly into your amp and play along that way. Love the ability to slow down the song to catch the riff more easily. I also love the ability to take out parts of the song so you can fill in your own version while the song is playing.

Comments about Tascam CD-GT2 - CD Guitar Trainer:
I am using the CD GT2 to learn and rehearse tunes from CDs. I like the tempo and key change features. I didn't care for any of the guitar effects pre-sets, but I was able to edit them enough to get a useable clean and semi-distorted sound. Overall the GT2 is very useful. I don't regret buying it.
