Comments about Alesis iMultiMix 9R - Audio Mixer with iPod Dock:
I have this audio mixer mounted in my Gator rack case with my other DJ equipment. During the cocktail hour or while guests are arriving at the party, I have my playlist from my I-pod touch (3rd generation) playing. This unit is great because I don't have to worry about the battery on my ipod running out like when I used a mixer that didn't have an I-pod dock. Not only that, I patched my DJ mixer thru this unit. It has so many inputs. Five mics that can also be used as line level inputs. I've also started using this mixer for Karaoke because of the aforementioned many mic inputs (sometimes people want to sing as a group). Set up was easy and the sound quality is excellent. I'm going to purchase a second one and mount it in a small Gator case for when the Coctail Hour is in a seperate room.

Comments about Alesis iMultiMix 9R - Audio Mixer with iPod Dock:
I'm using the unit as a basic line mixer to control and send multiple sources to a set of decent monitor speakers. I find the unit well made and it does everything I have asked it to do. I have no use for the mic preamps as I have better ones lying around, but the rest of it is exactly what I wanted when I ordered it.

Comments about Alesis iMultiMix 9R - Audio Mixer with iPod Dock:
I am using this mixer in a portable unit and so far has been great. There have been comments about it having cheap knobs, but I am not experiencing that. The IPod dock works well as an additional feature, but I am even more satisfied by the clarity. This is a very versatile compact board especially for this type of use.

Comments about Alesis iMultiMix 9R - Audio Mixer with iPod Dock:
I have been using this product since 3/2008 in my video editing studio. 2 of the sliders are having static issues rendering them useless when trying to monitor audio. I've rerouted my devices to other inputs accordingly. The IPod dock works great.

Comments about Alesis iMultiMix 9R - Audio Mixer with iPod Dock:
I use this unit in a home video editing studio. I replaced a standard mixer with this unit for several reasons:
1. The Alesis has rear inputs...all cables are now hidden in my rack cabinet. No more patch bays or patch cables
2. Ipod port. I can now view my IPod's video on my editing monitor and capture footage for editing.
My only disappointment is the flimsy slider controls...knobs are cheap plastic and wiggle when moved.
