HPRC 2700WF Hard Case with Cubed Foam Interior (Black)
The HPRC (High-Performance Resin Cases) 2700WF Hard Case with Cubed Foam (Black) is a lightweight, waterproof, unbreakable case. It meets ATA 300 specifications for transit cases. The hard-resin shells are virtually unbreakable, and the interior rubber O-rings keep the case air and watertight. HPRC wheeled cases have a smooth low-profile backing that houses a high-strength aluminum telescoping handle. This efficient design translates into a clean finish on the back side of the case, while the use of aluminum delivers a stiff feel for complete control between the handle and case. The case also comes with smooth-gliding wheels, soft-grip handle for carrying and an air pressure release valve. The case can be used to carry audio, photo or video equipment and accessories.
It is backed by a lifetime replacement warranty.

- IP67 military specification is an international standard IEC 60529 that classifies the level of protection that is provided against the intrusion of solid objects or dust, accidental contact, and water. The first digit indicates the level of protection that the enclosure provides against access to hazardous parts and the ingress of solid foreign objects. The rating of 6 indicates the highest level of protection - no ingress of dust, complete protection against contact. The second digit indicates the protection of equipment against harmful ingress of water. The rating of 7 (out of 8) ensures that entry of water in harmful quantity shall not be possible when the case is immersed in water under defined conditions of pressure and time (up to at least 1.0 m of submersion)

I got tired of lugging around several different bags and sorting through them to make sure that I was carrying the right equioment when I went on a shoot. With the HPRC case, it's all in one place. With two SLRs, several lenses (including a couple of biggies), flashes and spare batteries/chargers, it's no lightweight but the thing is built like Fort Knox & can get banged around with no damage to the contents.

I am a professional filmmaker who travels often with a lot of gear. This case is able to fit my 5D MKII, 4 Zeiss lenses (heavier than most L series) an additional zoom lens, as well as all of the camera's accessories without breaking 45 pounds. It is built like a nuclear bunker and I never think twice about checking it at the airport. I have used the Pelican equivalent to this case and travelling with that was a nightmare. This HPRC blows the pelican out of the water with lighter weight, smoother wheels, and an overall better build quality.

I have used many cases in the past but this one is the best one for the money. It was easy to get set up with the perferated foam interior. It rolls very easy unless you are walking on gravel or loose stones. It holds up to the airline abuse just fine, it's going to get the scuff marks like your luggage but the equipment inside is safe and sound. I use it to transport my slr's and flash equipment.

For travel, they always fit in the overhead compartment unless its a super small plane. I love the 4 latches, I have 4 of them now and any case I need to buy from now on Im buying these cases!
The one thing is the wheels, they catch and are not the easiest to maneuver specially in a hurry.
