THIS CASE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. IT WILL PROTECT YOUR CAMCORDER, CAMERA, WHATEVER THAT'S OF VALUE THAT WILL FIT IN IT, IT IS WELL PADDED, IT WILL PROTECT FROM EVERYTHING!! I RECENTLY PURCHASED ONE, HAD TO SEND IT BACK IN EXCHANGE FOR A BIGGER ONE TO TRY TO FIT TWO NX5U CAMERAS, SINCE I DO HEAVY AIR TRAVELING. Using this as a carry around for going to shoots. It's not quite big enough to carry everything I have with the cubed foam. Going to see about getting the dividers which I heard is better for fitting more stuff. Gear load out of standard kit consists of 2 7Ds, 70-200, 17-55, 11-16, 2 to 3 580EX class flashes. Stands etc needs to be packed separately.

Mainly go this because it'll fit in carry on space for flights. However, you'll likely go over the weight limit so that's something to remember.

The wheels are good but when it's bumping over ruts etc you'd which it has some sort of suspension so you don't knock your gear around inside.

I use this product to keep all my photo stuff in and it gives me great piece of mind to know it's going to make it through pretty much everything in that case. I lvoe it. And it has slots to allow for external locks if you want extra protection too.

This is definitely a tough case! Easy to handle like a roller-bag, with the retractable handle and the wheels. The wheels could have been more rugged and made out of rubber, but still good!

The foam are precut and extremely easy to shape for any needs.

Used for photographic gear around town and as checked luggage. Well made, rugged, very flexible foam inserts, lockable with padlock, solid wheels, retractable handle does not take up internal space. Just a little heavy to use as onboard hand luggage.

An excellent product that money can buy. Very, very tough, indeed. I have two super 8 cameras (Nizo 6080 and Beaulieu) and both of them are expensive, so I needed something to protect my investment. This is the perfect case to house these two cameras or other camera equipment. In addition, this case has wheels which is a plus when I'm waiting in line at the airport or in the city. The wheels are smooth and the handle extends about two feet. I am very pleased with this product.

It was easy to fit 2 video cameras and audio gear into the case and cut out the foam. Now it is easy to pack up and get on the flights and find my gear instead of a back pack.

I got the foam version. Used for Videography (Camcorder w/Lenses). Traveled worldwide with it. Really solid. Good looking (got compliments at the airport from people in line), light weight, solid, and easy to use.

I do think the foam padding isn't as effective on protecting, but it's all a matter of how much you want to put in it & pluck & play.

At the airlines, I never had problems with customs and it's easy to access if they want to see your case of professional goodies (just make sure to get the TSA case locks).

If you use a bag or a companion case on top in trolley mode as I have, I've noticed that this particular case's wheels isn't wide enough to trolley a wider piece of baggage other than itself. So, keep in mind the width is only approximately 14" if I'm not mistaken.

Overall, it is a great travel case to carry on, fits well in a car trunk and in the airplane travel bins above. A snug piece of carrying case if you can custom fit items necessary for it's dimensions.

Great case. Well thought out design. Strong, sturdy, and stylish. Things like the design of the folding handle show serious attention to detail.

The cubed foam works well for laying out your gear. Soft and protective. I'm curious to try another method of protection/organization as the cubed foam isnt particularly efficient. I feel like I could get several more pieces of gear to fit if I had just padded dividers.

Havent brought it on a plane yet but hoping it will fit smoothly into an overhead compartment.

One oversight in the design is the lack of bumpers opposite the wheels. I'm noticing after minimal use that that area is getting scraped pretty badly from when I stop the case while rolling. If there were some rubber bumpers there you could save the hard plastic from getting marred.

Overall a great case. Much more stylish than the pelican. To me it just speaks to its italian heritage.

We use it to transport an HVR-Z7 with charger, spare batteries, memory cards and some other small accesories, it fits it perfectly as long as you remove the xlr mic from the camera. I also really like the looks of it. Looks pretty stylish compared to pelican cases.

I wanted an indestructible wheeled camera case with just enough room for my most essential traveling gear so that I could take it onto planes and fit it into an overhead compartment without worrying that anything would get squished. The AMRE 2550 WF hard case with cubed-foam interior by Porta Brace more than fits the bill. In addition to the features already mentioned, it is waterproof and very maneuverable. It was even easy and fun to pull out cones of foam to snug in each piece of equipment, including camera body with lens, a couple of additional lens, and a few filters. I'm going on a trip to the Grand Tetons in August, and I've scheduled a river trip on a 3-person wooden boat. I will feel very confident with this case aboard.

Traveled across country with this case and it was very helpful. Besides keeping my Sony FX1 and Apple Macbook Pro safe it made traveling very easy with handle and wheels. Fits in the overhead on the airplane.

Everything just works the way it should. It clamps shut easily, rolls without tipping, and the handle is comfortable. I especially liked the way the wheels are encased vis wheel wells built inside the case; that prevents dust and debris from entering the interior through the wheels.
