Comments about AmpliVox Sound Systems Pro BeltBlaster - Portable Waist-Worn PA System:
I am a middle school teacher working with "gifted" students. My classes and field trips are active and fast-moving. My students are often absorbed in group activities when I need to give information or instructions. The Pro Beltblaster saves me from yelling or straining to be heard. I use it for just that degree of amplification needed to focus the students on what I am saying. This not only saves my voice, but it saves time in transitioning from one part of the lesson to another.
I have not tried it for serious singing or recording, but it is an excellent tool for active teaching.

Comments about AmpliVox Sound Systems Pro BeltBlaster - Portable Waist-Worn PA System:
I purchased this to use for auctioning furniture and appliances inside of houses. This item is powerful enough to provide plenty of amplification inside when moving from room to room with out having to carry a larger PA. It is lightweight, portable, rechargeable, and easy to use. I intend to try it outside on equipment rows to see if it has sufficient volume for outside use, but I bought it for inside use primarily. It is susceptible to feedback.

Comments about AmpliVox Sound Systems Pro BeltBlaster - Portable Waist-Worn PA System:
We needed a couple of PA Systems for a big trade show we were doing. There are many choices and it became a little overwhelming. I called & spoke with someone on the phone who introduced me to this product. I was a bit skeptical that it would work as it was so much less expensive than the other options. I'm happy to say that they worked just fine. If you're making presentations to a crowd at a noisy environment, they are a good choice for a fraction of the cost of other products.

Comments about AmpliVox Sound Systems Pro BeltBlaster - Portable Waist-Worn PA System:
I purchased this device for some audio experiments under controlled conditions. The output volume before the onset of feedback is poor, the head-mounted microphone is flimsy and of poor design, and the overall concept is badly implemented.

Comments about AmpliVox Sound Systems Pro BeltBlaster - Portable Waist-Worn PA System:
We needed a simple, affordable way to amplify my husband's voice. He teaches a small group where most who attend are hearing impaired. He also hates dealing with microphones, and likes to move around while speaking. The Amplivox Pro BeltBlaster has been the perfect, affordable soultion for everyone's needs. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the headset is ill-fitting and flimsy. We can't use it. The lapel mike works great[...] We're glad we spent a little extra for the "Pro" model and got the neoprene cover and rechargable batteries. Note: it does require a 24 hour charge before it is fully functional, as per instructions.
