Fujifilm FinePix F480 Digital Camera
The Fujifilm FinePix F480 Digital Camera is no bigger than a deck of playing cards, yet it is equipped with an 8.2 MegaPixel CCD sensor along with a digital signal processor for improved noise reduction, and a 4.0x wide angle optical zoom lens that captures large groups or distant subjects with ease. Furthermore, the camera includes a QVGA movie mode that can capture up to 30 frames per second with sound.
This easy-to-operate camera allows users to select from 13 automatic scene settings, including a 'Sunset mode' to emphasize vivid colors, a 'Beach and Snow mode' for minimizing glare in bright situations, and a 'Party mode' for indoor settings, allowing images to retain the natural ambience of the scene in low-light conditions. The FinePix F480 also features Picture Stabilization mode to reduce blurry images that can be caused by camera shake or subject movement, and you can frame your shots, or view your pictures and video clips on the high resolution 2.7" LCD Display right on the back of the camera.

The telephoto capability combined with the power of a 6.9x digital zoom, means that you can enlarge details in your image as much as 27.6x, making it possible to take great close-ups from far away.

- The FinePix F480 offers high sensitivity of ISO 800 to ensure great photos with crisp, clear detail in various conditions. Pictures come out sharp and blur-free, even when shooting in low light without a flash.
- Picture Stabilization Technology
- The Picture Stabilization feature of the FinePix F480 automates professional photographic techniques to help reduce camera shake, freeze subject movement and improve low light background detail. Picture Stabilization utilizes higher sensitivities, up to ISO 800 in the F480, an incredibly high signal to noise ratio, and faster shutter and operational speeds to deliver virtually blur free images where conventional digital cameras cannot.

The day we first used the camera it was working fine. Photo quality was acceptable and the LCD had a fast refresh rate and was quite nice. Unfortunately, during its use my wife looked at the camera and noticed the LCD was cracked (internally) and it wasn't showing anything any longer.I was there with the camera and can assure you that there was no impact, dropping or anything. Perhaps the temperature change outside caused it (we noticed the crack while we were outdoors).[...].I'm disappointed and won't be purchasing another Fujifilm camera again, ever.
