The Fujifilm FinePix Z10fd Digital Camera is an ultra-slim, and stylish camera with a durable all-metal mono-body design and a unique non-extending lens. It features an impressive 7.2 Megapixel resolution, a 3x optical zoom lens, high sensitivity of ISO1600, and the useful blog mode. The sharp 2.5" scratch resistant LCD screen lets you easily frame and view your images and the intuitive menu system is so easy to navigate, anyone can use this camera.

The FinePix Z10fd is loaded with features that will ensure that your pictures look great. The impressive hardware-based Face Detection technology identifies up to ten faces in a frame and optimizes focus and exposure to take the best possible people-pictures and a total of 14 special scene position modes (including Portrait, Landscape, Snow, Night and Close-up) make the camera ideally suited to any photo opportunity. Furthermore, when a still image isn't sufficient, the camera's movie mode captures broadcast quality movie clips with sound.

• 7.2 Megapixel Resolution: The Finepix Z10fd captures images with a resolution up to 7.2 million pixels, so you can capture images with superb detail and create prints up to poster size with no loss of image quality.

• 3x Zoom Lens: The Finepix Z10fd features an innovative non-extending, refractive optical zoom lens which provides faster start-up and brings your subject closer to you with a 3.0x optical zoom (equivalent to a 38-114mm on a 35mm camera). The camera also has a 4.8x digital zoom that lets you get even closer providing a combined 14.4x total zoom range.

• Face Detection Technology: The FinePix Z10fd features Fujifilm's incredible Face Detection Technology, which significantly improves your picture taking by identifying human subjects' faces in the frame (up to 10 faces) and in real time, determines the best possible focus and exposure settings for the absolute best results possible. Furthermore, the sophisticated, intelligent software algorithms detects red-eye and corrects it in-camera, after the image has been captured, to assure every picture looks its best.

• Picture Stabilization: Taking advantage of the cameras incredible ISO 1600 sensitivity with excellent noise reduction, and high shutter speeds provided by Fujifilm's latest LSI Chip, the Picture Stabilization technology automatically uses professional photographic techniques to help reduce camera shake, freeze subject movement and improve low light background detail.

• i-Flash Intelligent Flash System with Dual Shot Mode: The i-Flash system detects subtle lighting differences within a scene, and then varies the flash intensity accordingly, thereby preventing that "blasted with light" effect that so many digital camera flashes leave you with. The result is pleasing, natural tones with no flash "wash-out". The Dual Shot Mode quickly shoots two images in succession - one with and one without the flash - and saving both. This convenient function lets the user perform an on-the-spot picture comparison and decide whether the the more pleasing photo is with flash, or without.

• Blog Mode: The Blog Mode of the FinePix Z10fd lets you automatically resize any image you've captured to a 640x480 (VGA) or 320x240 (QVGA) image size, right in the camera, with the touch of a button. Your original high resolution image is saved, and an additional VGA image file is created for use in web applications or email where smaller file sizes and faster load times are needed.

• TV-quality Video Recording: The FinePix Z10fd includes a VGA Quality Movie mode that captures at a rate of 30 fps with sound, so you can use your compact digital still camera to produce broadcast quality video clips.

• Ergonomic Design: The gently curved body is designed to fit comfortably in your hand - regardless of who is holding it, and the unique twin ring buttons make it easy to quickly access most of the camera functions, and provides for intuitive mode selection. Plus, the Finepix Z10fd is unusual in that it is an ultra-compact camera with a standard tripod mount on the bottom (1/4-20 thread).

• 2.5" Color Display: A scratch resistant, reinforced acrylic protective shield protects the incredibly sharp and bright 2.5-inch LCD on the Finepix Z10fd so you can take it everywhere. The extra-large LCD makes it easy to frame your photos and share the results in brilliant color. Sensing ambient light, the LCD automatically adjusts brightness for optimum viewing indoors or outdoors.

• Compatible with xD-Picture and Secure Digital Cards: The Finepix Z10fd features a multi card type slot that can accept xD-Picture, Secure Digital (SD) and Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Cards. This convenient and flexible capability assures compatibility with a wider variety of devices and applications, and allows users to choose the media technology that is right for them. Plus, the camera has 56MB of built-in memory so you'll always have good storage capacity - even when your memory card is full.
