The SlingLink TURBO from Sling Media is a HomePlug Turbo-compliant device that is designed for use with the Slingbox Internet TV broadcaster. The SlingLink allows you to transmit Ethernet data over your home's electrical wires. It is a great solution for Slingbox users, since a home theater is rarely in the same room as an Internet router. The SlingLink includes a one-port box to connect to an Internet router and a one-port box that connects to a SlingBox.

Amazing use but must be plugged directly into the wall. That's the biggest downside.

Comments about Sling Media SlingLink TURBO HomePlug Turbo Transmitter and 1-Port Receiver:
It could not be easier. You plug the power cable directly into the wall. You plug the ethernet cable into the router. Repeat the same where your Slingbox is located. You're done. It's just that easy.

Comments about Sling Media SlingLink TURBO HomePlug Turbo Transmitter and 1-Port Receiver:
The SlingLink works fine in my house even though I have my cable box in the 2nd floor and my modem in the basement. Some people complained that they don't work unless they are plugged into the same fuse line. Not in my case.
It was very easy to set up. I had to reset my already working Slingbox though, but after that it worked great.
Great product.

Comments about Sling Media SlingLink TURBO HomePlug Turbo Transmitter and 1-Port Receiver:
I recently moved and my TV and cable box were now in a different room than the internet modem. So how do I connect my Slingbox to the modem? Wireless was probably going to be too slow to be useful for video streaming. I did a little research and came across the SlingLInk Turbo. Works like a charm. Just plug one part into an electrical outlet near the modem, connect that part to the modem with an ethernet cable, plug part 2 in a socket near the cable box and there you have it. The SlingLink uses your home electrical system to transfer ethernet like signals between the cable modem and the Slingbox. Worth every penny.

Comments about Sling Media SlingLink TURBO HomePlug Turbo Transmitter and 1-Port Receiver:
I got a Sling box and hooked it up to the cable box in my room to watch while away at school. Instead of running a cat-5 cable down to the router downstairs, I plugged one in in my room and the other next to the router. Couldn't be any easier.
