The Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro from Creative Labs is a PCI sound card that makes an excellent addition for any PC user who is looking for top-quality audio performance from their system.

The card features X-Fi "Xtreme Fidelity" technology to enhance the quality of music playback. The sound card even supports 7.1 channel audio output without the need for a dedicated audio decoder.

A dedicated I/O console is included to give you enhanced input and output capabilities. This is a great option for upgrading the sound quality of your computer.

• I/O Console: The external I/O console makes connecting audio peripherals to your computer a snap. It features connectors for various types of audio, including MIDI, and can be controlled using the included remote.

• X-Fi 24-bit Crystalizer: The sound card features a 24-bit Crystalizer that enhances audio output quality. The sound card features a processor that upconverts audio to 24-bit/96 kHz quality. It then remasters and enhances audio damaged by compression. This enhances both low and high frequency audio while also improving dynamics.

• X-Fi CMSS-3D: The X-Fi CMSS-3D upmixes stereo content for surround sound. The audio processor intelligently mixes the audio to provide an impressive surround sound experience that is customized for your speaker configuration. It even works when using headphones.

• Computer Game Audio: The X-Fi features EAX ADVANCED HD 5.0 effects processing to add realism to computer games. You'll also appreciate the 7.1 channel audio support for games that support surround sound.
