This is my first Mac. I really loved it after three weeks'use. The Mac mini is very well designed and is a perfect media center machine.

Comments about Apple Mac mini Desktop Computer:
The Mac Mini is the best computer of my life! My second best purchase is my Epson printer (CX4800). Previous to the Mac Mini, my "PC" broke down at least twice a year! And I had to have it "wiped clean" & start over! (Hence the external Hard Drive recommendation).
We are all "cheap", but Apple has given me such "relief from grief". I count the price worth it!
The only thing that bugs me is the case. Access for memory upgrades, etc is scary! Best left to the "tech's" No screws, you have to "pry" it open with 2 puddy knives. If it weren't for the case, it is 5 star item!

Comments about Apple Mac mini Desktop Computer:
If you don't need portability this is what you want.
Cheaper than a regular desktop computer and you can plug the monitor, keyboard and mouse of your preference.
Excelent machine.

Comments about Apple Mac mini Desktop Computer:
I don't know how or where to begin except to say that this is what computing is all about! Incredible little machine this Mac Mini which I purchased from a suggestion of a former co worker. Don't let the fact that it only has 1 gig of ram fool you this thing dances around my former XP based PC!
Video looks amazing it looks so smooth an HD! Ease of use very intuitive, I even connected it to my 61" DLP and 50" plasma for monitors incredible.
If you dare step over into the Mac world you will not return to
Windows I guarantee it! This is one awesome device! And I wonder what can their more costly machines do? Or their notebooks?
WOW!
