Comments about Sigma EF-530 DG ST Flash for Pentax P-TTL:
I use this flash on a Pentax K-x. I wanted a more powerful output than the pop-up flash for when I take pictures in large rooms or outdoors. The 530 has worked very well so far. It produces consistent results under a wide range of lighting conditions. It uses the basic P-TTL functions of the K-x with the exception of features like slow synch and trailing curtain. I believe those are available on the "super" model of this flash. I'm not a constant user of a flash and didn't feel like sinking hundreds of dollars into one. The 530 has more than met my needs. Only drawback I can see is the size of the flash. It is on the large side but is actually very light weight.

Comments about Sigma EF-530 DG ST Flash for Pentax P-TTL:
Accurate exposure crystal clear pictures. AUTOPIC mode and portrait modes are my favourites. Like the information and controls. Beats competitors in price and features. Would have liked AF zone confirmation on viewing screen.

Comments about Sigma EF-530 DG ST Flash for Pentax P-TTL:
I bought this as a bakup flash and it is powerful, easy to use and stable on my k7. While two buttons must be pressed to tilt or swivel the head, I found after some practice I could do it one-handed. A good value for the money and good recycle time.

Comments about Sigma EF-530 DG ST Flash for Pentax P-TTL:
I got this flash to use with my entry level Pentax K-X. The unit has been good value for the money. It has tilt and swivel capability and plenty of power for bounce flash all at a lower price than the comparable Pentax units.
I have had good results both with both indoor and outdoor shots.

Comments about Sigma EF-530 DG ST Flash for Pentax P-TTL:
I use this mostly to shoot weddings with my Pentax KX. It has proved to be very reliable and never misses a flash. It uses AA batteries which ia most convenient. Not the most powerful flash, but does the job!

Comments about Sigma EF-530 DG ST Flash for Pentax P-TTL:
I used this product once for an event in a place
that had high ceilings. The flash is great, powerful, heavy.
I returned it and got the Impact 2 light fluorescent kit instead since I mostly do product shots.
But when I did use the flash it wasn't for me,
I think it's great and any guy that needs it should buy it but It didn't suit me and my needs.
1 con: It's so big that when you turn to take a portrait photo I'm scared it will rip-off from the camera and fall, but it didn't.
