This is a versatile aluminum bracket that will fit on almost any light stand. It includes two removeable, reversible studs to adapt to light stands with top studs smaller than the standard 5/8 inch.

Comments about Bogen / Manfrotto Swivel Umbrella Adapter:
Nice, well built swivel. I'm using this with a 45" umbrella and a Canon 430EX flash and them stay secure when locked down.

Comments about Bogen / Manfrotto Swivel Umbrella Adapter:
Excellent combo umbrella and light support for a heavy duty lighting support. I am very excited to find this value. Now locate a ballhead for any digital camera out there at this value and you'd have a lot more business.

Does it what its built to do with no problems. I use this adapter on a Bogen/Manfrotto 001B Nano Retractable Compact Light Stand.

Comments about Bogen / Manfrotto Swivel Umbrella Adapter:
I use strobe and tungsten lighting set-ups, and this adapter works well with all of my equipment. It's very sturdy, yet with an adjustable angle for positioning my lights just where I want them, with or without an umbrella. I have used several other brands of the same item - no comparison - this one's the best!

Very well built and versatile, the only drawback is the knob for the umbrella is too close to the stud tightener.

Comments about Bogen / Manfrotto Swivel Umbrella Adapter:
I can't rate it at five stars, but its the best swivel to get. Its solid and almost unbreakable. Its one of the few photo equipment devices that will be in use for years without any upgrade needed.
The nasty thing I identified with this swivel is that you can cut your fingers by tigtening the lower knob which is only a few mm from the T bar winder.

Comments about Bogen / Manfrotto Swivel Umbrella Adapter:
Great product. The only umbrella swivel I would ever buy. It is very sturdy, cheap, and so much better than the other umbrella adapters out there. It does not loosen, and it is easy to tighten.
Comments about Bogen / Manfrotto Swivel Umbrella Adapter:
I own 4 of these all from B&H.I truly believe these are better than the other umbrella adapters as this is mostly metal versus plastics in many others. Also other manufacturers tightening knobs tend to get in the way of adjustment.I like this a lot and would change very little about it...
Expertise: Advanced amateur. Portrait Photography
Problems Encountered: Would be nice if the small round knob and bottom square knob had more size or bar sticking out to tighten easier.Sometimes it seems the tilt level tightening handle requires a little umph to tighten all the way...
Items I Recommend: Impact's cushioned 9.5ft stand as it's a great sturdy stand to use with the adapter...
