Vibe Noise-Isolating In-Ear Earphones do just what the name implies; they reduce outside noise which results in amazing sound reproduction delivered from the high quality dynamic drivers. I am using these with an ipod and the improvement in overall clarity, with comparison the the Apple issue white earphones, is remarkable. For me the ultimate test is using them for listening to music while riding the bus to work. I noticed two significant things: 1. I didn't notice bus noise and cell phones conversations, and 2. I was able to listen to any style of music and still hear the music. In the past, I could never hear extreme ranges in sound, such as certain genres of classical music (quiet passages in choral music or a string quartet) or similarly quiet sections of Yes or Genesis.
in addition, I notice that these earphones deliver accurate tone reproduction. In other words a good guitar tone sounds really good and you hear the natural, acoustic quality of a sax or trumpet.
The only negative thing I can comment on is that in order to get the noise-isolating quality, the earphones can sometimes feel a bit snug. but, if the music is good, I seem to forget this after a minute.

I use these ear buds at the gym while lifting and doing cardio. The noise canceling is decent but the inner portion is rather large, even with the smallest rubber gasket installed. If your ear canal is small, you will have a problem creating a decent seal for proper noise cancellation. The sound is good but not worth the premium cost. The ear buds do a very good job at amplifying the sound of any player. I find myself listening to music at several levels below where I use to listen. Great if your player isn't very loud to begin with. They also do a good job at the low frequency range.Quality of the wire and buds is top notch. Very light and the wire is not as prone to twisting and kinking like other ear buds do.I wish the plug was at a 90 degree angle instead of being straight. Not an issue for some but it is for me as I clip my MP3 player in the waist band of my gym shorts which causes my shirt to snag from time to time. The only reason I wouldn't recommend them to a friend is because I had similar performance from a set of [$] Sony ear buds. Their just not worth the premium cost.

Great earphones for my iTouch. They look good and sound good. These noise-isolating earphones make the sound more rich and real and reducing outside noise at the same time. Earpiece are very comfortable too. I would definitely buy this again.

wish the wire connector would slide, i prefer the wires under my chin to be just less than snug, but this one doesn't slide...allowing 2 loose wires hanging from my ears to bounce around and catch on stuff. the tangle-free coating is definitely not tangle-free...actually it tangles more and a bit worse than some other cheap ones i've owned. this is the most I could ever spend on earbuds...they are comfortable and IF they last years the price will be worth it. shortterm the price (for my low income) is not worth it but yes they sound amazing. a little flat for my taste (i like high crisp treble) but still great sound

I own the BASS FREQ before getting the VIBE. There is a huge gap between the two and I feel that VIBE is actually more bang for the buck. It has superior sound quality to the BASS FREQ and feels more sturdy. I bought the VIBE only to replace the BASS FREQ after 2 years. VModa products are quite known not only for their performance but also for their durability. MUST BUY.

I went through a series of these a few years back. in fact i had to get them replaced about every 9 to 12 weeks because the product was just plain horrible. [...]. however, after the fourth time (within a year) i decided to spend my money elsewhere. For [$] you really get what you pay for. best product i have found are Etymotic headphones.

I purchased these earphones as substitute speakers connected to a wireless intercom. I needed both ear plugs and speakers for motorcycle applications. Although I have not been able to use these while riding, the initial setup is a big plus. Experiments have illustrated that these earphones act very well as ear plugs, plus they respond very well to a wide range of tones, and volume. I also like the fact that there are three different ear plug seal sizes. The ones originally mounted on the phones stay in place in the ear canal very well (as an ear plug should) with no discomfort.
I have no others to compare to, but right now, there is no need for looking any farther especially at this price.

For the price, it has a good enough sound quality. Treble is fine, but falls a little short of bass for me. May be that's just me as I like heavy bass. The only big problem I have is that the metal near the ear buds often irritates me when I put them on. The design looks cool, but I wish they were more considerate about user's comfort.

I've paid double this for a set of in-ears and these blow them away and didn't come apart like the others on day one of use. Well spent money on warm sounding 'phones. My other v-modas had trouble going the distance because the cord pretty much seperated from the base at the joint where the cord meets the plug and began losing sound. I'll have to check back in after a few months to be able to vouch for these in this department, but looks and sounds good so far.

V-Moda makes some of the best sounding and comfortable earbuds on the market. Sound reproduction is incredible and clean. The only downside is the durability. This is my third pair, as my first two only made it to about two years each before shorting out on one side. With this new pair, they have incorporated a new plug and different cord material. Hopefully this helps solve this highly reported issue.

These Earphones lived up to their price and reviews. Treble, mid, and bass are all great. I listen to mostly Rock and Rap, at loud volumes and they sound awesome. No distortion, great sound, and probably the best bass you will get from an earbud. Bass is not earth shattering, but it is definately not subtle. If you listen to music all the time like myself, you will love these. My roomate has the V-moda freq's and these blow them away.

i love these earphones. simple enough. they produced plentiful amounts of bass and treble. they are really lightweight. the tips are really simple to change out. the only problems i encountered were i didnt have a use for the cord retainer thing and they only lasted me about a month till i noticed sound degradation in the right earphone. if i kept the box, i could of got a replacement. instead i "upgraded" to bose in-ear headphones and they arent doing as good of a job as these did.

Thse are stylish, rugged, and sound great. They were my first pair of in-canal earphones, so that took a little getting used to, but once you've got them in there for a few minutes they feel fine. For under $100 you get really good sound: crystal clear mids and highs and surprisingly strong bass. They have a really beautiful and strong design. Look best with black devices. [...]I just wish there were an attached shirt clip. While running they don't come out of your ears but the cord does bounce a bit (as they always do) so a clip would have helped. Oh well, you can always do what I do: make your own with a tiny binder clip.

I have used the in-ear earphones with my iPhone. The sound quality is quite good. The noise isolation seemed to work quite well during my recent plane trips. Not all the sound was blocked by a great majority of it was. For the iPhone I wish it had the switch so I could answer phone calls and switch playlist songs without having to use my iPhone controls. The three sizes of eartips worked well and felt good in the ear giving a snug and comfortable fit. The plug fit perfectly into the iPhone jack. I would recommend these to all iPhone users.
