The Creative Labs Xmod Wireless Music System provides you with both a transmitter and receiver for a complete wireless music experience. All you need is a set of powered speakers or a home entertainment system to connect via USB to the receiver. The wireless connection sets up automatically allowing you to start using the Xmod right out of the box. Connect additional receivers and speakers to turn your entire house into a wireless music network. The included remote controls your music, letting you stay on the couch or across the room when you want to make a change.

The X-Fi 24 bit Crystalizer breathes life back into your compressed MP3 files, creating full, clear sound. X-Fi CMSS-31 gives your music the feel of all encompassing surround-sound. Comments about Creative Labs Xmod Wireless Music System:

The XMOD is simplicity in itself. It was esy to set up and the sound quality is as good as my system - which is realy pretty good. Only part that I find lacking is there seems to be no way to purchase additional receivers - at least I have not sound a way to do so.

Comments about Creative Labs Xmod Wireless Music System:

I am not usually one to have a lot of brand loyalty, but I have never been disappointed by a Creative product. This is an affordable way to get all the music on my desktop hard drive on the second floor of my house down to my stereo in the living room.

The remote functions worked great and were an unexpected bonus as far as I was concerned.

It was very easy to install and includes a good quality sound card.

My only complaint is that every half hour or so the sound drops out for about 10 seconds. I'm going to try moving the receiver and transmitter around to see if that helps.

But I would recomend this product at the price.
