Comments about Belkin 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub-To-Go:
The top 4 port work only intermittently. For most applications they do NOT work, so effectively the hub is only a 3 port hub.

Even though most computers come with three or four USB ports, you never seem to have enough. With this hub your USB hub needs are satisfied.

Comments about Belkin 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub-To-Go:
As I looked at my desk, all I saw were wires for USB connections and not enough ports on my laptop. It seemed I spent time, connecting, reconnecting and moving wires to connect new peripherals. I faced this problem at home and when traveling. I am not an IT wiz. I can learn and do research. Belkin's 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub-to-go met my needs, saving me time and making my desk at home less cluttered.

Comments about Belkin 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub-To-Go:
1) Very useful Product. Five Star.
2) I have many external Hard Drives for which there are not enough ports on the computer. So I attach the Hub to each port which gives me six extra ports to connect the hard drives and other USB devices.
3) I did not find any unfriendly aspect of the hub

Comments about Belkin 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub-To-Go:
Nice thing about this unit is that it comes apart into a separate unpowered 4 port hub to travel with your laptop, and the powered base with 3 ports on it can stay home.
The silver travel portion has a nice feature: The plug that goes into your laptop can rotate so that the body of the hub doesn't block other ports on the computer.
Cons: None, really. It does what it suppose to do. The base is kind of oddly designed, but I think it's supposed to function as a handle when you separate the two parts. The portable hub fits to the base very snugly.

Comments about Belkin 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub-To-Go:
I recently acquired one of these 7-port USB 2.0 hubs, and find it very much faster than the previous USB 1.0 hub I was using, so now I'm in the seventh heaven of delight! The removable lightweight 4-port extension is also very handy when I'm travelling away from home with my MacBook.
