Well crafted, and attractive. Dropped to carpet a few times, all is well. I put the charger in front of my phone charger so I do not forget it, yet I have let it go a couple days at a time.
The air navigation seemed lagged at first to me but after remembering this I watched the curser path closely for the first time in weeks. Ya there is a pause before jumping toward the path in the air but it gets there before you would even press the button. Just look were you are going and you will get there fine.
I sent detailed request to manufacturer detailing problem installing latest software 6.* instead of the 4.* on the disk. The response was English as a second language response that was not particularly tech savy. But the only issue became a non issue and I am now more than satisfied with the purchase.
I programmed the buttons special for Firefox and another set for Photoshop & Fastone Image Browser and left the rest to default. Easy enough.
Use mouse gestures such as the "All-In-One Gestures" add on for Firefox and you will not only not miss left/right forward/back buttons of modern mice. You will actually surf faster.
I like the scroll sound as a feedback and after adjusting settings found I control it quite well. More importantly its flatter motion needs and the vary low profile of the mouse has contributed to the complete dispensing of my muscle strain. That is worth big bucks.
Note the mouse has not been physically updated in years and that the software drivers do not install on a one year old OS (Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade) after jumping through all the usual hoops.
Personally I feel the back-Forward buttons on the sides would of cost them a lot less and could of been easily replicated in the thumb gripped posture. The left & right rear posture buttons while lit have no bump although this would not of hurt a thing for forward posture grip. And behind them 2-4 more buttons could of been added to each side for an advanced model for the Photoshop and Gaming crowds.

Excellent mouse. I was surprised at how accurate the AIR tracking was. It has a comfortable design and it is really easy to use.
The price is a bit too steep for a mouse, but when you are buying a Lamborghini of mouses, what is there to complain about.
I just really wish this was updated to use the Logitech Unifying technology. I don't mind it, but it sure would have been a plus.

Comments about Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Air Mouse:
Tracks well once I got used to the action. Had to change the pointer to a darker and larger format so I could see it from greater distance (naturally), but I have been pleased with the motion. Sometimes the mouse gets somewhat "lost" and feels like it drifts. Moving the mouse rapidly backwards and forwards seems to reset the unit. This happens more than I would like for it to. Definitely worth the $ in terms of usability when doing demos in front of customers.

Comments about Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Air Mouse:
I have been using the MX air for about 2 weeks now and I am still not used to the scroll bar. I would rather they had left a old-fashioned scroll wheel in it. The scroll bar will often make a sound like the wheel has been spun and it will fly down the page with just a slight off center touch. Maybe I need to tweak the settings.
But a true scroll wheel would ruin the nice sleek look of the mouse, so I guess it is form over function. Other than that the mouse functions well on the desktop and off of it and it works well as a controller to my media center PC.

No arm-sweeping "Wii moves" required - works best with a simple rotation of the wrist. A little learning curve, but a great addition to the functionality and style of the most elegant conference room.

This is just what I was looking for, to allow remote control of my Lenovo Media Server. This mouse allows Drag and Drop behavior for my media playlist, then using the on-screen keyboard available inside Programs-Accessories-Accessiblity menu I get the other control needed.
Tracking out of the box was great, but when I loaded the software it became a litte loose.

I use the mouse for internet tv. Great idea but performance is not what I'd hoped for. Controlling the pointer is difficult. Doesn't have near the tracking control of a desk mouse. It's a bit maddening to use.

Comments about Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Air Mouse:
This mouse is easy to install and customize. The button response is crisp and smooth. I have two of these and would get another. The design does take some time to get used to if you have always used more traditional mice - barely a minor issue

Comments about Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Air Mouse:
This is a great wireless mouse with a really nice finish. The "on air" feature still needs a little tweaking by Logitech since you still get a erratic movement and not a smooth action as on any surface. The only reason why a 4 star rating is because of it's price, other than that it is a great mouse.

Comments about Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Air Mouse:
You get everything you would want in a mouse, except one small problem: because of the design, the weight of my hand tends to push the back of the mouse down that it can no longer track the movement. It can be very annoying before i get used to it. A lot of company try to make good design but ignore the functionality.

Comments about Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Air Mouse:
In my work I need precision with a mouse. As a musician working with notation programs, I was tired of the jumping mouse. The MX Air stays where you put it. It is very light, you can move it with one finger. Very good for powerpoint presentations and used like a TV remote. I love the scroll as it moves very fast and stops with a touch of a finger and makes a little scrolling sound. It is a pretty little mouse and looks very sleek and modern on your desk.
The battery could last a bit longer, but I use it all day, so I may not be a good judge on this point. For me, it will last about 2 days. This is a very easy mouse to learn to use.
I really love this mouse, it has made my work so much easier and fun.........I find it difficult to use in the air on the desktop, but not impossible. Just need time to practice with it. Over all, this is a great mouse and very easy to use. Takes about 2 minutes to install. Make sure you update to the new 6.1 setpoint on the Logitech website. If the battery runs out, it only takes about 15 minutes to give you a charge that will last the day, a big plus. For me, the only mouse to buy.
I waited after reading some reviews, I am sorry I did.

I love this mouse. I would in the IT support industry and I purchased it with the hope that I would be able to use it to help ease the pain in my arm that is aggravated when I use a traditional mouse for hours on end. And it does just that. I can sit at my laptop or desktop and browse away with this mouse at my hip rather than on a desktop.
The only things I would do to improve it would be somehow make it communicate over bluetooth or make the usb dongle smaller so it doesnt stick out as much (too easily damaged in a portable environment). And I wish logitech would make a little onscreen keyboard dropdown option in their Logitech Control Center software. That way I never have to touch a keyboard unless I'm typing more than a few simple keywords.
Again, I love this mouse. I will probably buy another one soon. And you should too. I hope Logitech expands this technology line in the future.

The tracking when using this in the air took only about 15 minutes to get used to the first time. It tracks very nicely and have not had any issues with usability. Having both the air and desk modes is a great benefit.
We are using this mouse for interactive presentations and it works tremendously. Often these are done on the road on some other computer and with both XP and Win 7 we did not need to load drivers. This is especially useful when the IT department has that lock down mentality and allows no software installs.
The only downside is when it is used in the air by an Italian - all those hand movements when talking, can create a distraction as the cursor moves around :-) That is a joke ...

Great mouse. Takes a little getting used to, but the Wii-like functionality is really worth it.
Plus it looks like something from the future. If you're into that, which I am.
