The Novatron M150 Monolight has a five-stop power range, adjustable in 1/10 stop increments. The modeling light switch permits constant full power, or variable with the flash power selection.
The M150 also includes an internal, switchable slave triggering device. It comes equipped with a 150 w/s color corrected to 5500°K plug-in flashtube and 150 watt modeling light. The mounting bracket attaches to a 3/8" or 5/8" light stand.
Novatron's self contained Monolights take all the elements of a power pack, flashhead, and reflector and combine them into one lighting unit that's very easy to set up and transport.
Note:When purchased on its own, the M150 does not include a sync cord.

Comments about Novatron M150 Monolight w/ UV Flashtube (120VAC):
This is a good product for the money. This has been great for me I use it the studio I have in my basement, for what I do it is easy to use and light enough to move around pretty easily.
Comments about Novatron M150 Monolight w/ UV Flashtube (120VAC):
The light is not fan cooled so the metal in the mount gets very hot with prolonged use. It melted the housing of the light so that the electronics literally would have fallen out of the light had I not noticed. Novatron sold out to some other company and the warranty rep told me that this was not covered in the year long warranty because the warranty only covered parts and labor. So, when does the HOUSING of the light not become a part.

Comments about Novatron M150 Monolight w/ UV Flashtube (120VAC):
I used this light for the first time on Thursday during a wedding shoot. I have other Novatron lights also, but they are not monolights. I found this very useful because I didn't have to log a charger with me because the monolight has everthing already built in that I need. The slave sensor and the fact that with the Pocket Wizard hooked up to it, GREAT! I also used a softbox with it and let me tell you, I got some pretty good images. I'll have to upload a couple of images later. Looking to purchase another one with more voltage later. Peace all.
