I ordered this lens pouch to use with my old Nikon 70-210 f4 and it fits perfectly with rooms to spare. It would fit any zooms in the nikon range except for the 70-200 vr. Quality material from Nikon. Would buy again.

Pouch is used for the 70-300mm AF-D Nikon lens. The pouch has a stiff bottom which helps protect the lens, and the material seems like good quality. There's just a drawstring but it might be possible to attach a longer carrying strap. Not sure how comfortable this would be though.

I can put my other lenses in this Nikon Pouch, Nikon 24-70 (minus the lens hood, The SB-900 fits and can go in a smaller space than using the provided case.

My daughter swiped the pouch that came with my AF-S Nikkor 70-300mm 1:4.5-5.6 G lens because it fit her Nikkor 70-300mm lens which did not come with a case. I ordered this because it was least expensive replacement [...] I could find on Internet. I was expecting an off-brand replacement pouch. This product is the 'real thing' Nikon case. Now we both enjoy OEM protection for our lenses.BTW, I don't know what another reviewer was talking about concerning tiny pieces of fabric getting in his lens from the inside lining of the pouch. Fabric inside this pouch is smooth as silk; no fine particles.
