The Denon DN-V210 is a professional DVD player designed specifically for education, corporate audio/video, and retail purposes. The player has a bevy of advanced features such as multi-regional compatibility, HDMI output, and DivX playback. With the included mount, the unit can be installed into any standard EIA racking system.
- Multi-Regional
- The DN-V210 can display both NTSC (United States, Japan) and PAL (Europe, Australia) standards, making the unit extremely versatile. Wherever you are in the world, the DN-V210 has you covered. 1
- HDMI Output
- The player can output using HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface.) When using the interface, video can be transmitted uncompressed, providing crystal clear images void of any compression or artifacts. In addition to high quality video output, HDMI also transmits all-digital, multi-channel audio.
- Play Anything
- CD-ROMs with MP3s, WMA files, and JPEG pictures can all be played back with the DN-V210. Even the popular DivX movie codec can be viewed!
- Auto Play
- Auto Play functions allows the unit to start automatically when power is turned on. This can be very useful for large venues where turning on each individual player is inefficient or simply not possible.
- Remote Lock
- The remote control can be disabled to avoid any unwanted or accidental tampering.
- Rack Mountable
- The DN-V210 comes equipped with a rackmounting kit for installing into existing EIA 19" systems, creating a clean and finished appearance.

I looked around at consumer players but the needs were to turn off all branding for customer on-site presentation use. Playing an ad for the DVD player company (the on-screen display) during a company's key product launch is not something you want to have happen. The focus is on the presentation and the DN-V210 makes it all happen. That's what I use it for... and it works well for that.
Sure, you can be quick on your video mixer's fader control to fade to black but this player allows you just to turn the on-screen display off and sit ready as needed. With the rack kit included, the player can be installed in almost any fixed environment, mobile rack, etc. Rack kit fits very well to unit and is a quick, easy install. The DN-V210 is priced very well and I purchased this model since the RS-232 control option found on the higher DV-V series model was not needed. Good price, well-built product that endures road use/transport in the rigors of mobile gigs and remote customer sites.

We have two Plasma screens in a Visitor Center that play DVD content 8 hours a day, every day. We purchased a Denon DN-V210 about two and a half years ago to use with the Plasma screens and it recently stopped working. We just purchased another one to replace it. I'm pleased with the product but I hope this one lasts a little longer.

I use this product to randomly preview mastered & duplicated DVDs for playback. Unit is rackmounted alongside by DVD Duplicator for convenience. Excellent quality.

We have quite a few of these. They are constantly playing in our showrooms using the HDMI connections. This one was purchase because another (same make and model) crashed on us. It had been playing for about a total of 4 straight months.

We are using it in our Studio A as a playback for production. It seems to work fine, we will have to see how it holds up to student and community access use. It did freeze up on one of the first DVDs we used. That DVD did play properly in another mashine.
