The Canon PowerShot A720 IS Digital Camera provides a combination of innovative technology and superb design to take your photography to an exciting level. With a high-quality 6x optical zoom lens and Canon's Image Stabilizer Technology it will keep your images clear and sharp - even in low light. The 8.0 megapixel resolution means that you'll get extremely detailed prints up to 16 x 20" that will look great - even after cropping.

The camera also features a real-image optical viewfinder, which allows fast framing and precise manual focusing without the LCD, or you can see it all on the large 2.5 inch LCD screen. It also has the Canon DIGIC III image processor provides advanced Face Detection AF/AE - a unique Canon technology that automatically detects faces in people shots and optimizes focus and exposure accordingly.

Other key advancements include ISO 1600 sensitivity and red-eye correction for sharp, superior quality images. In addition, the camera features an extensive range of creative shooting modes and is compatible with optional converter lenses for extended versatility.
