The ARCHOS 605 is a versatile, expandable portable media player, which can handle all your digital media needs. The 605 has a 30GB hard drive to store your favorite music, video and photo files. The ARCHOS 605 features a touch screen 4.3" TFT LCD screen with 800 x 480 resolution to enjoy your JPEGS and video files in a handheld less than a 0.6" thick. The ARCHOS 605 can even record audio and video when combined with the optional DVR Station and has a USB chargeable lithium-ion battery for up to 16 hours of continuous music playback and 5 hours of continuous video playback.

Wi-Fi capability is what sets the 605 ahead of the pack with ability to surf the web (optional internet plug-in required) or stream from your Wi-Fi computer via 802.11b/g.

• Media Hungry: The ARCHOS 605 will handle your music, video, photo, and even PDF files.

• Wi-Fi Capability: Stream your shared media from your Wi-Fi enabled computer or surf the web (optional plug-in required).
You can also rent or purchase media via ARCHOS Content Portal.

• Plug-ins: Optional plug-ins from ARCHOS include:
Cinema (DVD, MPEG2 video, AC3 audio) Plug-In: to play movies in MPEG-2/VOB format with AC3 sound (5.1-surround sound); copy your DVD movies from your computer to your ARCHOS and select your language and subtitle.
Video Podcast (H.264, AAC Audio) Plug-In: to play video podcasts in H.264 MPEG4 format and AAC audio files.

• Long Lasting Battery: The ARCHOS 605 can be charged via USB cable and will provide 16 hours of music and 5 hours of video playback.
