Comments about Kata DP-415 Digital Pouch:
I actually picked this up to affix to my sling strap, and use it to hold a score of dslr accessories for long days out location scouting. It's quite roomie - I have two batteries, a basic remote release (corded), a bubble level, micro fiber cloth, memory cards, a card reader, and a 1 gallon plastic bag (incase it rains). I like that there's a divider in there, and a separate pocket for cards. The fact that it has its own rain cover is neat too. Next time I pick up a point and shoot I'll likely get one of these to go with it - I imagine a lot of those accessories would still fit if it had a camera in there as well.

Comments about Kata DP-415 Digital Pouch:
This works perfectly with the Sony HX9V p&S. Plenty of room and not so tight you can not get the zipper shut. You have room for the camera, extra card and battery. If you will carry a battery charger consider a step up like the Lowepro Apex 100 type size. Suggestions B&H makes for camera bags are ok, but typically are just enough of a fit. This bag or even a step above there suggestion gives a bit more room, but not so much your camera bounces all over the place.
