The Jobo Spectator mobile storage device is similar in style to the Jobo GIGA one, with the added benefit of a vivid color display, which allows users to immediately view and share their precious images in high quality without the need for a PC.
The vivid high resolution 2.5-inch TFT Color LCD displays ultra sharp images, and the Spectator also features built-in card slots supporting all cards including CompactFlash ( I/II), Secure Digital (as well as the SDHC-standard), MultiMedia Card, Memory Stick, and Memory Stick Duo. Furthermore, the unit's integrated auto-verify function provides added security and gives users assurance that the copy process was successful from memory card to hard drive storage, while the internal rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery makes it an ideal portable digital storage device that photographers can take with them and share their images anywhere, anytime.
other features provided by the Spectator include image-zoom, copy, paste, and delete of images, files and folders, Thumbnail- and Slideshow-Mode with adjustable display duration, power saving function (LCD-Standby, Auto Power off), indication of battery and hard disk capacity as well as Firmware Updates for free. In addition, the menu navigation is available in seven languages. The Spectator also features a USB 2.0 High-Speed-interface and TV-out and can function as a Mac or PC compatible external hard disk.

Comments about Jobo Spectator, 120GB Stand-Alone Data Storage Unit and Photo Player:
Good price for 120 GB storage, just very, very, excruciatingly slow. I use 4 GB cards, and it takes a few hours per cards per download. The directions are of no help as to any specs, workflow with the device. The display can only display Jpeg format apparently, though this is mentioned nowhere. But one can't complain too much, at the end of the day, it does do it's job, (just very slow at doing it), and comes at a good price for a mobile storage device of this capacity

Comments about Jobo Spectator, 120GB Stand-Alone Data Storage Unit and Photo Player:
I was very dissappointed with this product. It continually shuts off and I have to use a paper clip to poke in the hole to restart. I wish I had bought the Epson model, [...] I would not recommend buying this product. Melvyn R.
