The Sony 8cm DVD+R Recordable Disc is a write-once style disc with 2.6GB of storage capacity; 45 minutes of recording time in HD mode, or 55 minutes in SD mode. Sony uses 'AccuCORE' technology to deliver 'an enhanced level of recording ACCUracy, COmpatibility, and Reliability'.
Like any DVD+R format camcorder disc, this disc is ideally intended to be used all at once and cannot be rewritten.
