I recently purchased this system online for my husband for his birthday. He absolutely loved it!
He can easily use it with his IPod or IPhone. It's portability makes it easy to use by the pool or on the screened porch & was easy to take along on a trip to the mountains. We even had a party recently & set it up with the IPod to schuffle.It continued to play our selections throughout the night & the sound was crystal clear. He really liked that the system charges your IPod or IPhone through out the use as other systems he's used in the past did not have this capacity. B&H made online ordering convenient & we received the system in only a few days. As you can tell we are very pleased with this product & would highly recomend it.

doesn't have a power on LED to tell you if the unit is on or off. Worst yet it doesn't have an on/off switch on the unit. It has on/off on the remote control. With no light to alert you to power on or off you have to shut down the Bose first in order to be sure. The LED it does have
is for telling you if the battery is low or being
charged. To top it off they don't include a Mini to Mini plug.

The SoundDock has been a welcomed addition to my workspace. It's not that the speakers on my MacBook Pro were not sufficient, but rather that with the SoundDock behind me, steadily boasting beats-a-plenty, I find myself mesmerized in tune with my work and the crystal-clear sound that the SoundDock produces. Although the sound quality is good, the overall construction of the unit could be more sound. The power jack on the back of the SoundDock is prone to breaking, which mine already has, but thanks to B+H, I have a new unit. So, be careful inserting the plug into the back of the SoundDock.

I am a senior. I DJ for our parties and celebrations using my laptop through itunes. I connect my 2 Bose portable speakers using the auxilary ports in the back(although when I DJ I use the electrical cord to make sure my batteries do not run out). The sound is fantastic and I only have them turned up a 5th of the way for the volume. I have 2 long audio cables connected to my laptop and by placing the Bose speakers strategically at each end of a long table with my laptop in the middle it sounds like we have a orchestra in our meeting hall. My son heard mine and he went out and purchased one, too. The battery will last approximately 3 hrs before needing a recharge if I use it outdoors for our barbecues with my ipod touch.

The volume and quality of the sound produced by this little thing simply amazes me and whoever is nearby as it plays. I really like its design and people always call it beautiful.
To be honest, sometimes I miss some buttons(e.g. on/off) and connections (e.g. usb), but this isn't so important for me. I also find it somehow expensive, but totally worth the cost.
All in all, its a very high quality and I would recommend it for all those who are looking for the best portable sound system for iPod!

I use my sound dock all over the house, inside and out. The sound quality with my iPod is nothing short of amazing! It holds a 3 hour charge on its own without having to plug it in. No matter what type of music you like, this is definitely the way to go, as all your music will sound phenomenal! as a side note, I researched prices all over the Internet and in stores, and B&H has unbeatable prices! This is a MUST HAVE for all music lovers, and so far there really isn't anything I don't like about the product at all.

This is the one of these i purchased. The first one was stolen from my car. S be warned. This is just a great product. Great sound quality and the rechargable battery is huge. Only problem is that the mount isn't always effective so make sure to purchase an 1/8" to 1/8" cable so to avoid mounting issues

This really is a super product. I'm loving it myself, I use it with my iPod, iPhone and use the Aux port with my laptop which all sound great.
I had one of these stolen from me a few years ago and looked around for a long time for a more cost friendly product and did replace it with something else, but in the end, came back to this product as I feel it is by far the best and feel that you are paying for a product that is at the very top of its category.

I have always wanted the portable soundDock from Bose and this summer I bought it. It has the crisp, clear sound that only Bose can deliver. You can crank up the volume with no distortion whatsoever. I had a cookout and in the middle of grilling with a house full of people, there was a short unexpected thunder storm and all the power went out in the house for hours. The sounddock system played music for my guests and kept everyone happy until the storm ended and then all the guest went on to the deck where they continue to listen to the music playing on the soundock system. Works great with my video ipod and new Apple iPhone 4G. When fully charged this system lasts for hours. For the very first time using the system, it really came through with flying colors and saved the day.

Love the included rechargable battery, which actually lasts quite a long time as long as the unit is not at max volume.
