The 12x50 Ultravid HD is an outstanding optics package. I've compared many binoculars in the 12x to 15x range and nothing compares to this overall package. At this price point you obviously expect top-flight optics and the Ultravid HD doesn't disappoint. This package also offers the widest field of view of any 12x, excellent close focus, good eye relief, light weight and great ergonomics. I've seen comments stating these are heavy binoculars, to this I must reply compared to what? If your looking for a binocular beyond 10x, then closely compare specifications between the various offerings you'll soon find one binocular the 12x50 Ultravid HD emerges as having the best overall configuration.
