The AVerTV Combo PCI Express ATSC/NTSC/PAL HDTV Tuner from AverMedia allows you to receive over-the-air HDTV broadcasts right onto your desktop. The tuner features a PCI Express interface for installation. It also supports standard definition broadcast and cable television signals, making it an extremely versatile solution. You'll even be able to capture analog video from an S-Video source. The tuner allows you to watch, record, and playback recorded video, making it an excellent addition to your Media Center PC.
- HDTV Tuner
- This PCI Express tuner adds an HDTV tuner to your computer, letting you take full advantage of the high-quality format. Network HDTV broadcasts are available over the air for free in most areas. In many cases, all you'll have to do is connect an HDTV antenna to the card to receive the signal. The card also features an analog tuner, which is compatible with NTSC and PAL broadcasts for worldwide use.
- Designed for Windows XP MCE and Vista Premium
- No software is included with this expansion card. It is designed for use with Windows XP Media Center Edition, Vista Home Premium, and Vista Ultimate. The card works with the built-in PVR functions of these operating systems.
- Low-Profile Design
- The card features a low-profile design. This allows it to be installed in both standard computer cases and low-profile cases. Brackets are included for both installation options.
