I have had a D 300 since it came out and have been using the MD-10 for increased frame speed.
Mostly used for High School Sports for local newspaper, The AA Ni-Cad Batteries died after a couple hundred shots, EL3 is still going strong after 800+ shots!
Wish I got it a couple years ago!

The reason I bought the MS-D10EN battery holer
is for my second battery. Now when I need to swap out my camera battery it's quick and I can do it with one hand, while holding my camera with the other.

Bought this new from B&H and one of the three connector tabs is already broken in less than a week... so even with a fully charged battery, your camera thinks that the battery is dead and will cause you to miss shots.
