The stylish Samsung L830 Digital Camera with its metal front cover and minimalist design provides a superb resolution of 8.1 megapixels, and a 3x optical zoom. It is ideally suited for use at family gatherings, picnics, school exhibitions or trips, and Samsung exclusive Multi Charge system means that recharging and data transmission can be done simultaneously connecting a combined recharging and USB cable, thereby making the camera well suited for travel.
The camera is equipped with Samsung's proprietary ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) and high sensitivity ISO 1600, which ensures sharply-focused images without flash in an indoor environment, and the Face Recognition (AF & AE) function recognizes individuals and takes the best portrait, while the Red-eye fix feature takes care of the red-eye phenomenon during and after shooting. In addition, the Samsung L830 has a powerful movie function that records MPEG4 video at SVGA resolution (800 x 1592) with a Movie Stabilizer function and a Successive Recording function.
The Mode Dial of the Samsung L830 enhances ease of use when operating the camera with only one hand, and the "E" (Effect Key) button provides the user the ability to quickly access special effect functions including color effects, highlight adjustments, photo frames and composite shot functions. Furthermore, the 2.5" Intelligent TFT LCD provides improved contrast and color reproduction for easy image framing, editing and reviewing, and the display automatically adjusts its brightness according to the surrounding brightness levels for optimum visibility.

- The Samsung L830 has the ability to provide a sensitivity level of up to ISO 1600, thereby enabling you to take clearer indoor pictures in poor light without camera shake or image blur.

- The ASR function prevents the degradation of image clarity and color which is sometimes found in flash photography. With ASR the effects of image blur are reduced in lower light conditions. Furthermore the camera includes a Movie Stabilizer function, which helps maintain steady recording of a subject by automatically detecting and correcting any camera movements, and a Successive Recording function that allows you to pause and resume video recording as desired and merge those multiple movie into a single file.
