The Samsung NV15 Digital Camera continues the innovative compact design of the samsung NV seris with the award winning Smart Touch User Interface, and a Royal Black aluminum body incorporating contrasting black finishes, and a comfortable and steady grip. It uses a 10.1 megapixel effective resolution 1/1.8" CCD, to provide superb image detail, and the 3x zoom Schneider-Kreuznach Lens ensures that your images will be crisp and sharp. The high quality 2.5" wide-view LCD allows you to view brighter, clearer images, while the innovative Smart Touch user interface, makes it possible to quickly navigate and set menu items or view pictures. In addition, Samsung's unique ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) system utilizes the cameras high sensitivity (ISO3200) to enable you to take better, clearer pictures indoors or in lower light conditions. Other unique features of the Samsung NV15 include Auto Contrast Balance (ACB), Face Recognition AF&AE with Red-eye Fix, Motion Capture, and built-in Special Effects (Composite, Photo Frames, GIF).

• 10.1 Megapixel Resolution: The NV15 uses a 10.1 megapixel 1/1.8" CCD, which provides a level of image quality not normally found in a slim camera, With this high level of resolution, your pictures will preserve capture even the tiniest details, resulting in a picture quality of unmatched beauty - even at print sizes up to 20x30".

• 3X Optical Zoom Schneider-Kreuznach Lens: The superior quality Schneider- Kreuznach lens produces crystal clear images, and each lens surface is multi-coated to minimize the "ghost" or "flare" phenomenon. The lens has a 3x zoom range equivalent to 34mm - 102mm on a 35mm camera, and the camera also has a 5X digital zoom function. When combined, the digital and optical zoom offers a total zoom ratio of 15X.

• Attractive Ergonomic Design: The thin black aluminum body of the NV15 is stunning in it appearance with Samsung´s unique blue ring on its extendable lens barrel. Although it is less than 22mm thick, the comfortable grip makes it easy to steady the camera - even with one hand, and refined details such as contrasting black finishes result in an unexpected level of beauty and luxury.

• Fast ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) and ISO3200 Sensitivity: The Fast ASR technology prevents the degradation of image clarity and color common to flash photography thanks to an ISO 3200 sensitivity. With ASR the effects of camera shake are reduced in lower light conditions. Furthermore, The NV15 has an auto sensitivity feature that automatically adjusts sensitivity according to the ambient exposure conditions, and a high sensitivity setting enables you to take clear indoor pictures in the dark without camera shake and the resulting image blurring.

• Movie Recording and Editing: The NV15 records TV quality MPEG-4 VGA (640x480) 30fps video, and also allows for the use of the cameras optical zoom while recording a movie - a very uncommon capability in a digital still camera. Furthermore, the built-in movie editing function allows simple, convenient movie editing on the spot.

• Pop-Up Flash: A distinctive feature of the NV15 is the built-in pop-up flash. The use of a pop-up mechanism made the overall design simple yet luxurious, and its location, right above the lens, hugely improved light diffusion angles and transmission rates. The flash location is also ideal for delivering the flashlight as intended, since it prevents accidental blocking of the flash by a hand.

• Versatile Scene Modes: The NV15 includes 12 Scene Modes so it is easy for users to obtain the best picture result in a variety of settings, including Night Scene, Portrait, Children, Landscape, Text, Biz, Sunset, Dawn, Backlight, Fireworks, Beach and Snow. The Text and Biz modes extends the camera's application potential since you can shoot documents (Text) or business cards (Biz) and then it will automatically recognize the text in the documents or cards, manage and organize the information, and store it in your PC using the included software.

• Red-eye Fix Function: The Red-eye Fix algorithm programmed into the camera automatically eliminates red eye in shoot and play modes, allowing you easily take more natural, flattering portrait shots, and without the need for further post-shot image editing on your computer.

• Face Recognition AF & AE: The NV15 has a built-in face recognition AF & AE feature that detects up to nine different faces, enabling you to take perfect portraits of friends and family. In addition to automatically adjusting focus and brightness to optimum levels, this feature also senses and removes red-eye.

• ACB (Auto Contrast Balance) Function: The Auto Contrast Balance function automatically compensates the brightness of objects in challenging light environments (ie back lit conditions) to ensure a perfectly exposed image.

• Large 2.5" LCD with Smart Touch Controls: The 2.5 inch LCD monitor provides a wide clear screen so that you can easily frame and view your images, and the Smart Touch user interface makes it possible to quickly navigate and set menu items or view pictures. The unique makeup of the Smart Touch buttons combined with large 2.5 inch LCD on the back of the camera provides users with a level of access through the graphical user interface, and intuitive control over the camera unlike anything seen before.

• Built-in Special Effects: The Camera includes several special effects features including PhotoFrame, Motion GIF and Composite Shooting. Using the Photo Frame feature, you can add one 9 types of frame-like borders to a still image you want to capture. The Motion GIF lets users take up to 50 images continuously at a specific interval and save them in a file; then play the images back as an animation. Composite shooting lets you combine 2, 3, or 4 different shots in a still image to make a panoramic image or cover a larger visual area.

• Multi-charging system: With Samsung's unique multi-charging system, traveling has become even easier. With a single charging USB cable kit, (SAC-46, SUC-C2), you can conveniently charge the camera from an ac power plug, or your computer. There is also an optional external battery kit (SBP-4442) available for expanding your shooting capability.
