The Pelco NET350T converts the analog video signal coming from a single BNC device into digital so that it can be transmitted over a network. Along with video and audio, this unit will also convert alarm and camera signals via its RS-232/485 serial ports. By using an IP encoder at the transmitting end and an IP decoder at the receiving end, video can be sent and received over long distances almost entirely over the network. This will allow established security facilities to take full advantage of the latest in network technology without having to replace their existing analog CCTV equipment.
