I got this product as a gift for someone and he really likes it so far. I love the charming look of the body of the camera and the size is very handy for carrying around. What I don't like is that the camera is without a built in flash. Even when you use it in full light, the pictures still seem quite dark. Other than that, we are pleased with the product.

I have numerous cameras in my collection, and bought
it out of curiosity. Having a deep background of
"early " photography i guessed right about its
capabilities. Using it outdoors in good light with
the setting at infinitry, it produced excellent
sharp pictures. Same with ( Flowers) close-up.
Just watch the o.5 - 1 m, and infinity setting !
I call this strictly " fun - and attention-getting " picture taking. For serious photography I use my
Nikon D-80.
Don't be negative, learn to use the controls and
live with it. Again = have fun.

Nice reproduction of the original Leica.. too bad the image quality of the pictures are really awful. If only I the images are passable.the LCD in the back is so dim.nice quality of build. The replica buttons do not really work or turn... only the shutter button works and the small butoons on the right of the lcd.If only the pictures were decent enough but alas they are not. It looks good. It will surely be a conversation piece. An ice breaker.
BUT.. the only thing that functions is the shutter button on top and the tiny buttons on the back on the right of the LCD.
Body is plastic, the only thing metal i think is the part of the top plate on the left side.
Image Quality is horrible..sorry to say.. I think I can get a better quality on some cheaper point and shoot digital cameras. The colors are off and it is not sharp.. the pictures look like they were shot from a film camera and the pictures have faded in the sun over time. like polaroid.
LCD is dim, very dim.
IT looks good as a display more than as a functional camera... although I wish some point and shoots can be as good looking as this one!
Form is excellent..Function? ZERO.

This camera is a beauty. Wonderful replication of the M-3 in miniature that looks great in your collection.
A great update now that it includes an lcd on the back the ability to use an SD card, and a rechargeable battery.
Pictures are not great, but they are not bad either. They have a unique quality of their own. You can take pictures with it that you will want to frame or otherwise share.
When using the flash attachment you may need to use a handkerchief to cut down the light a bit or your pictures will be overexposed.
