The long lasting battery allows you to transfer up to 20GB of data, 13 hours of music or 4 hours of video on a single charge! View your media on the Wolverines large 3.6" LCD screen, or use the included A/V cable to view on any TV or Projector. The Wolverine is the perfect accessory for the photographer on the go. The first thing you need to realize is that this device is an external hard drive first and foremost. As such, it does take a little time whenever the hard drive needs to spin-up upon waking, (and refreshing takes longer as the hard drive capacity increases), but this does not interfere with any A/V currently playing and indeed the software is designed in such a way that some of the material is stored in RAM so that the hard drive can sleep to save battery life. These settings are adjustable

This unit has a 350gb hard drive plus the ability to show MOST video and photos plus play music. It has other capabilities that requires the purchase of a cradle for %50 that should have been included in the price. I was disappointed in the screen's low resolution. It would not play the movies from my Canon 7D. The JPEG photos were sharp but the Raw files were fuzzy. The unit is heavy and bulky.

Comments about Wolverine ESP 250GB Portable Multimedia Storage and Player:
Even though the design is somewhat old, I was impressed with the functionality.
I use it to back up raw images from various types of Sony Alpha cameras (a900, a55, a350) and the results have been great, reads all formats and reproduces on screen, though resolution is poor. The interface is not as smooth as newer products, but the ESP gets the job done!

Comments about Wolverine ESP 250GB Portable Multimedia Storage and Player:
The ESP 250GB seems to be great for location backup in photography. My cards and Wolverine give me confidence that nothing will be lost before I get to permanent backup.
Easy to use, with several other utilities that can provide entertainment on flights.
This product is equally as good but better than my old MVP9000

I haven't backed up a lot of stuff yet but what I have put on the ESP 250 reviews/ plays back great. This is really a device that I would think any serious photographer would want to have.

Comments about Wolverine ESP 250GB Portable Multimedia Storage and Player:
I took the Wolverine on a trip to India 2 years ago and found it far more useful than expected. I watched movies, backed up the flash cards of mine and my travel mates. I would say "industrial" in design and function, but form is ALWAYS second to function in my book. Some drawbacks include time for drive to spin-up, battery life is average (about 1 2-hour movie per charge). Easy to navigate and view/delete images. Average backup speed, but gets the job done.

Comments about Wolverine ESP 250GB Portable Multimedia Storage and Player:
I bought this storage devise for a trip that I will be taking in June to Europe. I will be taking many photos and will not be taking my computer. I mostly will be using it for photo storage. I read the directions and it seemed pretty easy. I downloaded photos from my flash drive and then I downloaded photos from my computer to the Wolverine. It worked very well and was easy to use. Then I downloaded music and that was easy too. Enjoying it so far but the test will be when I go on my trip in June.

Comments about Wolverine ESP 250GB Portable Multimedia Storage and Player:
great capacity, accepts most memory cards. However, very picky about types of movies that you can load and view. I wanted a device that I could put movies on for travel entertainment, yet have space for photo backups, but I could NOT get the prodect to play any movies. Also, the photo review is POOR. extremely low res. you are better off reviewing IN your camera before you backup your pics.
