Comments about Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk Paper (Super B, 13 x 19" - 10 Sheets):
This paper is used in conjunction with an Epson 3880.
I first tried the Gold Fibre Silk in 8.5 x 11 and was blown away by the colors. The black and white prints are exceptional as well.
Profiles provided by Ilford are spot on. At this point I have no need for custom profiles but that may change.
I printed, matted and mounted my first 13 x 19 last week and the photo is stunning!
I may experiment with other papers, but I have found my go-to paper in 8.5 x 11 and larger.

I used this paper to print a figure study portfolio. The skin tones took on the warm, gold tone beautifully. Deep, dark blacks and a lovely luster gave me desired contrast. I will be using this paper again!

Comments about Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk Paper (Super B, 13 x 19" - 10 Sheets):
The only con is I wish it had slightly more fibre texture, like the Hahnemeulhe. But I much prefer the price of this paper for something equally as impressive. Will be my go to paper for quite a while now.

These papers are very similar to papers I have been using for the past thirty years as the name describes what they are. Papers with strange names or makeup are not acceptable.

Comments about Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk Paper (Super B, 13 x 19" - 10 Sheets):
I've been using this paper for a couple of months now and I really like it. The texture is nice to the touch and the weight of the paper feels substantial. Color reproduction is different in a subtle way from other papers I've used, slightly smoother and less harsh. Almost painterly. I haven't printed any black and white with it, but I imagine it would do very well. It's also less expensive than other papers in its class.

Nice, even surface that seems to print well on my Epson printer. A nice change of pace from some of the other papers I use on a daily basis.

Comments about Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk Paper (Super B, 13 x 19" - 10 Sheets):
The paper is absolute gem to use. I have compared it against Harman Fb Al Warmtone and the Colorsync 3D plots show an exact match in terms of gamut in the 3D axis. This paper is identical to the Harman Fb Al Warmtone, costing about twice or more than this. There simply is no reason to buy the other product except if you get them at the same price as this. The only difference i found is in terms of the paper weight (320gsm vs 310gsm).

Comments about Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk Paper (Super B, 13 x 19" - 10 Sheets):
My printer of choice is the Epson Stylus Photo R1800 which delivers decent images even on plain paper. This Ilford paper is a joy to use with black and white or color images where shadow and highlight details are subtle and misty or bold and sharp. It is the paper of choice reserved for my best images.
