Comments about Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk Paper (Type C, 17 x 22" - 10 Sheets):
I like using a fine art type of paper for printing on my Epson Pro3800. This is one of my favorite papers. Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk produces excellent color and texture. I can say that what I see on my monitor is what it looks like on this paper. Of course be sure that you calibrate your monitor. Ilford has ICC profiles for this paper to download at thier website.

Comments about Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk Paper (Type C, 17 x 22" - 10 Sheets):
This paper has the look and feel of a traditional B&W glossy fiber paper. It works wonderfully with color images as well. I feel this paper is superior to the RC feel of the the traditional C print paper. If you love the look and feel of Ilford Multigrade this is a great paper for you.

Comments about Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk Paper (Type C, 17 x 22" - 10 Sheets):
The best fine art paper you can get for B&W OR color. Heavy weight just like the old double weight Fiber based papers AND it even has that darkroom smell when you crack the pack. Byarta layer just like a lot of the sliver papers too.
Comments about Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk Paper (Type C, 17 x 22" - 10 Sheets):
The paper is beautiful to look at, although not as fiberous as I thought it would be. But make sure you have the time to test it out!!!
I am on a deadline and thought since it was an inkject paper it would be a snap to print. WRONG! I don't know anything about printing and really should have done more research. Even though the guy who printed it for me was using pigment ink (as recommended) it won't adhere to the paper. It's still not dry after 24 hours. I've got artwork due ASAP and will have to have my work printed on something else. I live in Reno, which isn't that small of a town, but when I called around other printing companies had either never heard of baytra paper or wouldn't touch it. This has been a real pain. I'm sure if I am able to find someone experienced with it the photos will be great - they look great now, but won't dry.

Comments about Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk Paper (Type C, 17 x 22" - 10 Sheets):
I've used Galerie Gold Fibre Silk for color and black & white photographs. I've printed landscapes and portraits. The colors are vivid and pop and the black & whites have nice contrast. It has become one of my favorite papers for almost any type of photographs and I've used many different papers. The look, feel, and even the smell of the paper gives you the sense of real, old fashioned, darkroom photo processing. Only the photographer knows for sure that this is inkjet.
The paper comes in various cut sheet sizes, quantities and roll. I'd like to see a 24 x 30 cut sheet in a 10 pack and a 20 or 25 pack in the 17 x 22 cut sheet size.
