This works Ok. But placing 2 flash drives side by side is tough. I also had issues plugging my iPhone into the port. Maybe you can't do that.

I have numerous USB 2.0 cables connected to my computer including another 4-port mini-hub (not a Belkin). Everything works fine, but I needed more ports so I bought this Belkin mini-hub, in particular attracted to the long "tail." However, when I attached it to my computer and tried to attach other cables, none of the ports allowed the cable to connect fully. I attached my iPod cable, which charges the iPod and connects it to iTunes, and although it showed a connection, it closed down right away. I tried it with all the ports and the same thing happened.

This is a beautiful, inexpensive "must have" addition if you want to connect several USB attachments to your computer. It is a hub that relies solely on a USB port in the computer for its power. This hub is circular with approximately a 2" diameter. The hub makes four additional ports available. One of the brilliant design features of the hub is that the four additional ports are spaced equidistant along the circumference of the hub. With many of the usual hubs the ports are spaced close to one another, with the result that when the peripheral has a bulky SB connector, it makes adjacent ports inaccessible. That's not the case here as, because of how they are spaced, all four ports are accessible regardless of how bulky the USB connector is.
Another brilliant design feature is that the cable from this hub to the computer is retractable. At maximum extension it is two feet long. But if you don't need that length, the wire retracts and reduces the clutter of wires usually on your desk.
One of the hidden assets of B&H for the computer using customer are the inexpensive, high quality peripherals and accessories stocked by B&H in its computer section. This item is one of them. The accessories in particular can be most helpful. These accessories are generally inexpensive and very useful with many of the accessories not being available for sale anywhere else in NYC.
I was so delighted with this item that I returned to B&H and bought four more hubs for friends and members of my family

I use this product for my macbook because it has only 2 usb ports. With the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 4-Port Mini-Hub by Belkin, I am able to have 4 functional high speed usb ports. This product is great and I have not had any problems with it. The price is great too!!!
