If you're NOT using a battery grip on your DSLR this is a great bag.
I bought this for my wife for Christmas and she loved the fact that it didn't look like a camera bag, had suede-like accent and was just the right size for what she carries (D80, 18-200 VR zoom, strobe, filters, etc.). This is a great messenger-style bag if you don't have a battery grip on your DSLR. Unfortunately, my wife's D80 DOES have the MD attached and the camera wouldn't fit in the relatively narrow bag. Without the MD it would have been a perfect fit. She was very disappointed because she really liked everything else about the bag.

Express 7 Camera Bag is a good product but not exactly what I planned to buy. It is roomy enough to carry my D7000 with the lens attached, Speadlight SB-700, one more lens and some accessories. However, it's not well balanced and feels a bit heavy when carrying around. Also, it's not padded enough.
Although a necessity, I did not enjoy much the smell of naphthalene used by the warehouse as a moth repellent, which filled my room for few days. :)))))))))))))

I had a Lowepro Exchange Messenger bag before this one. While I loved it and it was really light, it didn't have enough padding for my equipment and was mostly just a shoot bag. The Tamrac Express is sturdy enough to use as a travel bag as well as a shoot bag while keeping the small profile of the Lowepro Exchange.
This bag has plenty of padding, which are removable and reconfigurable. Love how there are several zippered pockets and a cell phone pocket on the outside. Also love that it has a padded shoulder strap.
My only complaint is that the under the clasp, is a large piece of velcro. So to get into the bag, you hear the really loud velcro crunch. I had to put some electrical tape over it so as not to interrupt a wedding ceremony.

I really like this bag. It works we'll for me. I carry a Nikon D60, a 300 and a 55mm lens, all my cleaning utensils, spare battery, memory card, filters, flash unit and more. This should last me a good many years.

I was looking for a bag to hold my Canon Vixia HG20 camcorder, an external microphone, and accessories. In particular I wanted a messenger style shoulder bag for quick access, comfort, and to avoid advertising that I was carrying a camera. This was the thinnest shoulder bag I could find for under $200 which still has a good amount of padding and doesn't look like a camera bag. It is quite comfortable to wear, fits my camera snug enough to protect it and loose enough to allow quick removal, and has enough space in it to bring along my external mic, spare battery, charger, all my cables, a few filters, lens cloth & pen, and either my rocket blower with room to spare or my Canon 10x30 IS binoculars. The strap is well padded and quite comfortable for extended use, and the velcro and snap closure on the bag is good for quick access. If I have any criticism it would be that the closure method might prevent this bag from keeping out the elements very well, however a zipper would hinder quick access, so for me that isn't much of a negative.

Did a lot of review reading before I settled on this bag, which I needed for my new Canon 60d and extra lens. The bag is plenty big enough, and the construction is solid. Access to the camera is quick and convenient. Also, very lightweight. Items down below take longer to retrieve. Something about the strap and the top handle might take some getting used to, but overall this bag fits the bill.

I was worried that my large lens attached with the hood to the camera would not be easily accessible until i found this bag. Works great. Plenty of nifty storage areas. The suede is a nice touch. Keeps a low profile so no one thinks there's a thousand dollar camera in there.

This bag is the PERFECT size. I can fit in it my Canon 7D with attached 18-55mm lens, an additional 50mm lens, 55-250mm lens, speedlite, instruction manuals, extra battery, charger, and memory cards. There is still some pocket room for additional accessories and there is still room in the main compartment if I wanted to carry a larger lens than what I currently have. The bag isn't big and bulky and you can wear it close to your body. I really love it.

I was looking for a bag that I could more or less keep all my gear in (camera, a couple lenses, gorillapod, handbooks, etc.) and be able to just grab and go. I wasn't too keen on buying a camera backpack, because I've used one before, and I found it a hassle to keep taking the backpack on and off every time I needed to access something.
This bag is perfect. It carries everything I need and it is all easily accessible. The padded internal dividers are adjustable to any configuration via velcro, and it looks great! What more could you ask for?

This is definitely a great product with lots of room for accessories. My old camera bag was wider than this one so it takes some getting used to. I feel it is adequately padded but I worry that my flash modifiers will get crushed in there since the bag is so thin. It's almost more like a laptop bag than a camera bag from the outside.

I used this camera bag everyday while on vacation and was able to easily put away and take out my camera and lenses with ease all the time. The bag is small enough to not be a hassle around my shoulders but also big enough for me to carry my camera and two additional lenses and have room in the pockets for extra memory cards and additional items. I wish maybe that it would have been a little bigger so i could eventually put in bigger lenses but if anything i will by a bigger version of the bag when I need to. This is the exact bag i need and wanted.

Bought it for my new Rebel T1i and it works great. Holds the camera with the 250mm lens attached, and has space for two additional lenses, flash, all the cables and accessories you need for a weekend out. I really like the way everything is adjustable inside to make it fit you. The size is just right, and it doesn't scream that you have $1000 worth of gear on your shoulder. Being in Europe messenger bags are the norm, and it fits right in.

I bought this for a sleek and subtle look, and its great at carrying my d300 with sb600 and a extra lens. The bag also has a lot of pockets that are well divided to hold spare batteries, memory cards, etc.
The compartments are easily adjustable and the padding seems fairly adequate.
The 'lens first' placement of the camera makes it easy to grab out and take some quick shots also.
The messenger bag style strap is pretty good but if your equipment is heavy it can dig into your shoulder after a day of walking around.
